Emenike, the name that was on all Chelsea's fans lips and minds, as Chelsea defeated At.Madrid to be crowned the true champions of Europe thanks to an Emmanuel Emenike goal.

All those, who thought Chelsea's champions league win was a fluke and disregarded them being the champions of Europe, were forced to swallow their tongues as Chelsea did the business last night defeating Madrid. The moment that decided who would win came when Emmanuel Emenike used both his strength and speed to race past two defenders before smashing the ball into the net.

At.Madrid would have been disappointed with themselves as they had many chances to score and hit the bar twice. Their target Falcao was all over the place but thanks to heroic defending from Ivanovic on numerous occasions he failed to actually score and punish Chelsea.

When interviewed Emenike wasn't shy of expressing his delight at scoring the winner and winning another trophy with his new club. The Nigerian is raring to go and hopes to help the club win even more trophies.

Mourinho has already won two trophies in the space of two weeks. Will he win more?

The Uefa Champions league. Known to be the most prestigious tournament in the whole of Europe. The competition where the heavyweights of Europe battle it out to be crowned the champions of Europe. This is a competition Chelsea are very familiar with as last year they won it by beating Bayern Munchen in the final, at the Allianz Arena, on penalties. On their way to the final they were underdogs yet they managed to beat teams such as Barcelona on the way.

Chelsea recently won the European Super Cup thanks to an Emmanuel Emenike goal and were crowned the champions of Europe. A song their fans have been singing since the start of the season. Constantly at Chelsea games you hear "We know what we are, We know what we are, Champions of Europe, We know what we are". The fans sing it with such pride and charisma. When arguing with other football fans, you can drop in the line "we're champions of Europe".

Chelsea will be very eager to defend their title that they worked ever so hard to win. It won't be easy, but with Jose Mourinho back in charge and him winning two trophies in two weeks, it seems very possible. However they must go past the group stages to achieve this. Luckily for the Blues, they got a fairly easy group. The other three teams in group B are:

Dynamo Kyiv
Dinamo
Anderlecht

The group of death in this year's champions league is group A which consists of Juve, Dortmund, Arsenal and Braga.

Will Chelsea retain their title? We'll have to wait and find out.

Despite Emmanuel Emenike's brilliant performances it seems that Jose Mourinho is in need of even more firepower as earlier today the club confirmed the signing of Stevan Jovetic for a fee of 22 million. We have strictly been told we cannot announce the striker's wages yet until he joins. Jovetic will join Chelsea on 1.1.2013.

Jovetic joined Fiorentina in 2008 from FK Partizan for a fee of 8 million. He was given the number 8 shirt. Fiorentina fans are said to be highly disappointed with his departure as they feel Jovetic had more to offer and the club rushed to sell him because they saw ''big figures''. Jovetic however told sky sports Italia he has always wanted to play in England and he is now glad he has the chance to. Reports say Chelsea may play a 4-4-2 formation or may convert Emenike into a winger.

With both Emenike and Jovetic on the field Chelsea will definitely score goals!

A brilliant month for Chelsea football club, not only did they play beautiful football but they showed their mental strength to. Chelsea look a refreshed and ten times stronger team under the management of Jose Mourinho. He has added a bit of swaggeer to Chelsea's style. It seems his experience in Spain has helped Chelsea as they tend to play tika-tika football.




Emmanuel Emenike has been outstanding since he joined the football club scoring 5 goals in 4 appearances. His pace and power is impossible to stop.

I would just like to thank everyone for their support! Its not been easy quitting my Henry story to start this one but the nice comments have given me a bit of motivation.
