Sorry for the unoriginal title guys.

Yes, I'm bringing this back! (Not that many people were following it before, but...)

Anyways, I've gotten some tips about different writing techniques to use, and I may be using some of those in this story. I've also learned more about good players that are available for this level.

I'll also most likely use the icons available to use in posts instead of uploading and copying the links to large amounts of images, this way it will be possible to show the goalscorers, etc.

I'll update once I'm finished with the pre-season.
Good luck :)

Thanks, hope you will continue to follow this once I start posting updates.
Good luck. Hope you can go far with Sutton United.
Key Signings

Guillaume Norbert

He is the best right-back in my squad, as well as being nine years younger than my other right-back, Frank Sinclair. This season however, he will be playing at left-back because Luke Rowe isn't good enough to play in the first team yet (however, Rowe will be playing some matches if Norbert gets injured)

Pablo Couñago

Couñago is arguably the best striker available at this level, and has been fantastic for me in the past. In my last save, he ended up scoring two more goals than the second placed player, and five more than his strike partner Trésor Kandol (who has unfortunately refused to sign for me on this save). Needless to say, I won the league that season.

Szilard Nemeth

Hasn't been near as good as Couñago in my past saves, but still scored tons of goals. A very good striker for this level, but when I turn fully professional he will leave the club (as he is retired from that level)

Good luck with this mate :)
Match Results

Especially since I was predicted to finish in the bottom half of the table, I can say these results were good. (Even though the media predictions are usually wrong) I was disappointed with the loss to Staines, but most of the goals were the fault of my backup keeper Gilpin (who was playing as Phil Imray was with the New Zealand squad) Interestingly, the first seven goals of the season were scored by the centerback partnership Short and Camaño (who are my season top goalscorers so far). Camaño picked up an injury in the last game and will potentially miss the next month.

Player of the Month

Martin Camaño scored four goals this month and was, for the most part, a rock in defense as well. As said before, he will miss the next month with injury so I will have to deal without him. (He is also paid less than other key players, such as Sébastien Carole and Pablo Couñago).
Nice start m8. Good luck with this ;)
It appears you have made some very good signings, like Pablo Counago, it's interesting to seee Frank Sinclair in your squad, and good luck Yuttra :D
Great signings and a good strong start there mate. Good luck!

Thanks for wishing me good luck guys.

(If you're wondering, I'm top of the league by one point.)

Just a little thing I thought I'd share before I start playing more.

EDIT: Didn't add this, but my left midfielder Laurent Robert was runner-up for the Player of the Month.

ANOTHER EDIT: It appears this was my 200th post as well!
Match Results

Even with the loss, I thought this was a good month. It shows that, while I'm not the greatest in matches against teams much smaller than this one, that I can get at least a point after the opponent has scored. It also shows that I'm not the best at home, as both of my league losses were at my own stadium. The loss vs. Tonbridge was unacceptable and I have told my players so.

INJURY NEWS: No new injuries (thankfully, as my squad is relatively small) but Martin Camano has recovered from his injury that kept him out for a month.

Player of the Month

Though 36, he has still scored a few goals for me and created countless goal-scoring chances. He has had trouble staying match-fit at times (not starting two matches because of it), but he has had an average rating of 7.54 for the nine matches he has started in.

League Table Information: Currently I am in third place but one point off first. I have the best offense in the league, but the seventh-best defense. I will try to make sure that other teams have more difficulty scoring against me.
Good start to the season, you will do well :)
