Becks: Like father, like son

Hello guys, I've been reading many player stories and I love the idea so I've decided to start one myself as Brooklyn Beckham. As many of you know, Brooklyn is the legend, David Beckham's first son. Brooklyn today, joined QPR's academy and so I thought to myself, why don't I do something like than on FM and see if Beckham can become anything near the player his father became.

In this story Brooklyn will be 16 years old and he will be looking for a team. I do not want him to start in one of the best teams, e.g Manchester United. His dad will act as a role model to him.

Dad's still out in Paris with PSG. What an inspiration he is to me. The rest of the family are still in LA and are flying over in a few days. Currently I don't have an agent so Dad is acting as one but Dad he says I shouldn't worry he'll sort one out for me.

I'm glad I was able to handle the negotiations myself and I'm getting quite a lot for a 15 year old. However I don't want to be money driven, I want to be just like my Dad and if possible even better than him. I want to make the family proud like my Dad has done on numerous occasions. Earlier today I agreed a deal, a youth contract, with Notts County. Even though Dad was in Paris he was still at the meeting via Skype. We all agreed a deal where I would be paid 55p/w and I would agree to sign a professional contract on 4.3.2014. If I do so I would be paid 200 p/w.

Notts County is a club with history and even though I'm a youth player I would like to be successful here. There's a lot of pressure on me but I think I can handle it. So here I am, about to start my career. Let's do this!

I quickly pulled out my iPhone from my pocket as I had just received a text message it read:

Hi Brooklyn, make sure to bring your tracksuit to the training ground today, we've got a match against Preston in the capital one cup and you're in the squad. You will be starting. Chris.

WHAT HAD I JUST READ! Just weeks after joining the club and the boss has selected me to start. This is an amazing achievement. If I'm right I'm set to break the record as the youngest player to ever play for Notts County, incredible!



All the lads treated me very well, but one thing I liked is that they didn't treat my like a teenager, they treated like a man. They knew I was under quite a lot of pressure and they tried to calm me down and I learned quite a few things. Unfortunately we lost the game 3-2 but I personally played well and the fans sang a song for me. '' We love you Beckham, we do oh Beckham we love you''. I hope to make more appearances for the club in the future but for now I must focus as I have some u18 games coming up. Dad sent me a text saying '' well done son, I'm proud of you, watched it from over here and you did well!''. While the rest of the family were in the stands watching.

From this point on-wards, I will give monthly updates unless there is a very important one
