That's actually a very interesting idea. I shall do that after

Would be bloody hard to do though!

Oh yeah i know, but as this has already done before, i may as well make an effort
What would people prefer?
Man City with no money.
Or Premier League Teams having to start again?
Option #2

:P

Premier League Victory Takes Toll On City

After winning the title in dramatic fashion last season, the Noisy Neighbours are now without Owners. Sheikh Mansour left the club yesterday claiming; "I have done enough here, my money is needed elsewhere".
As if things were bad enough for the Citizens, now having to look for a new owner, but the possibility of losing their stadium and having points deducted is looming around the corner.

City's financial structure looks in a dire position, and it's hard to think how they will continue with such high calibre players. The future looks bleak for Manchester City.

A Quiet Transfer Window For City

With the team being as cash-strapped as the are, it has been an expectantly quiet window for them. Many were surprised that more players didn't leave, but Mancini insists "The money they got for Kolarov should see them through"

Kolarov departs city for £7M

Fan and pundits alike are scratching their heads as to why the Citizens have dipped their toes into the market and signed keeper Gomes from Tottenham. With city already having two keepers, this seems like a waste of money from Mancini.

I love seeing them struggle for cash :) can't wait to see how the season pans out!
Liking the look of this.

5 Star Performance From The Citizens

In a match that was supposed to be a tight affair, Man City slammed 5 goals past French giants PSG. A brace from Samir Nasri was certainly the highlight of the match as he struck both from well outside the area.
With City's financial worries reportedly worrying, results like this are exactly what Mancini needs to keep spirits high. "My team were magical" he said. "It was like i was watching Brazil in the 70's, the passing was pin point, the players were full of energy and Joe Hart was in fine form"
With AC Milan only managing a 3-0 victory over Malaga, this win puts City at the top of Group B.

Sounds like a fantastic idea. Looking forward to reading more.

August - December Update

Pre-Season Friendlies

Community Shield

The season didn't get off to the best of starts to Mancini's City, narrowly losing out in the community Shield.

August

In terms of the Premier League however, things couldn't have gone better for the sky blues, back-to-back wins and only 1 goal conceded.

September

Another convincing month, progressing through the Capital One Cup, and thrashing both Liverpool and PSG. The only slip up being the result against Chelsea.

October

A unbeaten month, and a further two wins see's City push hard to forget the financial troubles.

November

Things started going wrong for Mancini in November, just the one in the league, two defeats in the Champions League and losing the Manchester derby.

December

December brought about a long month of football, but with only the one loss, there was a Christmas Spirit in the air of Manchester. A good push into the next year.

Capital One Cup Games

3rd Round vs Fulham

The most surprising aspect of this win, was that they let Joe Hart step up and score the winning penalty.

4th Round vs Reading

Yet another escape on penalties.

A clean sheet this time.
