Dear FMScout
I am having an argument with two of my friends over Average Ratings and Form in FM2013 Handheld edition. Im saying that average rating is the ratings of a certain player in X amount of games, and is calculater by Average Ratings over X. IE, if messi got 10/10 in one game and got 0/10 in the next, he would have an average rating of 5.0. i say form is how well they are playing. my friends say that average rating is the average of all the stats IE, aggression, pace, etc. Can someone please tell me who is right? Thanks in Advance
I don't do handheld myself but i would say that your friends are morons, average rating by it's very name would be the average of the ratings that player has received as you so rightly say.

Whereas form is definitely how well they are currently playing according to their predicted abilities, for example Rooney's goal against Brazil last night was the direct result of good form and Torres for the past few seasons is a perfect example of mrof (form so bad it is backwards!).

Short answer: you = right, them = wrong
like ziechael said
notthing to add to that :-p

the rating they mean is not realy fixed and is hidden that is the ca/pa and your scouts give stars for that. But only the top scouts will get the stars correct as they can because it also depends on the rest of your squad etc
the best way to find that rating is genie scout or something like that
