Since reaching the Copa Del Ray Final , barca haven’t done anything wrong , winning 5 out of their last 6 games and a draw against high flying Athletico and a win in the Champions League 1st Leg.

The first game after the Cup Semi’s was against Celta Vigo who sit deep in trouble and Barca took advantage winning 3-0 thanks to a Torres double and a Sanchez lob sandwiched inbetween.




They then travelled to Real Betis where in a second half world class performance Barca took the sword to Betis and won 2-0 thanks to Messi and Sanchez. Rivaldo then faced two home games against Sociedad and Rayo winning 2-1 and 1-0 respectively with Messi scoring 2 in 2 and Torres netting his 28th of the season.

A flight to English champions was next , Rivaldos men struggled to deal with the strength of Toure and Dzeko but a change of formation to 4-2-3-1 saw Torres score the winning goal surely a bargain at 6.25 M and Pedro. A trip to Mallorca and then a flight to title rivals Athletico faced Madrid in the month of death which saw the Catalan’s winning 1-0 thanks to Fernando Torres on the sunny Island and then a 2-2 draw saw them re-establish a five point lead at the top of La Liga.
