Tottenham superstar, Gareth Bale has publicly stated he made the right choice joining Spurs and not Arsenal causing some exta "beef" between the Spurs fans and Arsenal fans. In the post match interview of the North London Derby, Bale was asked about his time at Southampton and how it was knowing both Arsenal and Tottenham wanted him.
Bale said "It was an amazing feeling to be wanted by two big clubs, it was a tough decision but I think I made the right one, today is my evidence. We were by far the better team today and we're constantly proving a point". The Welshman spoke with confidence proudly stating he's glad he joined Tottenham over Arsenal. Spurs are hoping to finish above Arsenal this year and Gareth Bale will play a huge role in helping them.
Fans of both sides were caught on camera clashing. This is nothing new as the two sets of fans hate each other . A bust up between the Spurs and Arsenal players took place during the match between Jack Wilshere and Gareth Bale following a poor tackle on Santi Cazorla. This is not the first time the two players have clashed, but this time they were close to exchanging blows.
