So I decided to use my 2000-01 season database for the first time, from Sven-Goran Eriksson as England's manager to Robert Pires for Arsenal. In 2000-01 season Leeds got into the semi-finals of the Champions League but lost against Valencia, I hope to go even further with this Leeds team.

For this story I am going to be the man who was in charge of Leeds for the 2000-01 season, David O'Leary who was a Ireland international back in 1993.
As we head into the new season it is time to review all squads for this coming season.
So one of this season's main title contenders have a very strong squad going into the new 2000-01 season. In goal the Gunners have 34 year old David Seaman as the starting goalkeeper with Austrian Alexander Manninger as back-up. One of The Gunners' strong points is the defence with Martin Keown, Tony Adams, Igors Stepanov and a young Matthew Upson covering the center, on the left side of defence is Ashley Cole and Sylvinho, and on the right an ageing 35 year old Lee Dixon and 22 year old Cameroonian Lauren. In center midfield, Arsenal have Ray Parlour, and Patrick Vieira. On the right Arsenal have Robert Pires and on the left Ljungberg. Arsenal have one of the most forceful attacking forces in the league with Thierry Henry, Sylvain Wiltord, Nwankwo Kanu and Dennis Bergkamp.
Predicted to come in the last UEFA Cup spot here is Aston Villa's squad. So in goal Villa have a great 'keeper in David James with 22 year old Peter Enckelman as back-up.In the center of defence The Villains have Gareth Southgate, Steve Staunton, Alpay Ozalan and 18 year old Gareth Barry. On the left side of defence Villa don't have the strongest players with Alan Wright and Jlloyd Samuel, and on the right Villa have young Mark Delaney. Moving onto midfield The Villains have Thomas Hitzlsperger, George Boateng, Paul Merson, Lee Hendrie and Ian Taylor. Villa have very good strikers in David Ginola, Dion Dublin, Julian Joachim and Juan Pablo Angel.
Bradford are the favourites to go down this season but they do have a lot of poor quality in the squad this season. The 'keepers for the Bantams are two 31 year old's Gary Walsh and Aidan Davison. In the center of defence Bradford have David Wetherall and Robert Molenaar, on the left side of defence Bradford have Ian Nolan and Lee Sharpe. Finishing the defence off on the right is Andy Myers and Gunnar Halle. In the center of midfield is Jamie Lawrence, Gary Locke, Gareth Whalley and Stuart McCall, on the left the Bantams have Peter Beagrie and star man Benito Carbone. Up front is Robbie Blake, Stan Collymore, Dean Windass and Dean Saunders.
Charlton are predicted to edge off relegation this season. In goal is Dean Kiely and Ben Roberts. In defence is Paul Konchesky, Danny Shittu, Radostin Kishishev, Chris Powell, Andy Todd, Greg Shields and Richard Rufus. In midfield for The Addicks is Claus Jensen, Scott Parker, Shaun Newton, Graham Stuart and Mark Kinsella and up-front are Kevin Lisbie, Jonatan Johansson, Mathias Svensson and Andy Hunt.
In goal for the blues this season is Carlo Cudicini, Rhys Evans and Ed de Goey. In the defence is Marcel Desailly, Winston Bogarde, William Gallas, John Terry, Jon Harley, Celestine Babayaro, Graeme Le Saux and Frank Leboeuf. In midfield for Chelsea is Jody Morris, Roberto Di Matteo, Gus Poyet, Samuele Dalla Bona and Dennis Wise. Up-front for the blues are Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Mikael Forssell and Gianfranco Zola.
Predicted to come 17th by the end of the season Coventry have a lot of work to do this season. In net is Morten Hyldgaard. In defence is Barry Quinn, Carlton Palmer, Marc Edworthy, Richard Shaw, Paul Williams, Gary Breen, Paul Telfer and Ivan Guerrero. In midfield for the Sky Blues is Youssef Chippo, Mustapha Hadji, John Eustace and David Thompson. Up-front for Coventry is Craig Bellamy, Jay Bothroyd and Ysrael Zuniga.
In goal for the Rams are Gerard Doherty, Mart Poom and Lee Grant. In defence for Derby is Bjorn Otto Bragstad, Danny Higginbotham, Ian Evatt, Chris Riggott and Horacio Carbonari. In midfield is Darryl Powell, Stefano Eranio, Adam Bolder, Rory Delap, Seth Johnson, Craig Burley and Georgi Kinkladze. Up-front for the Rams is Branko Strupar, Marvin Robinson, Deon Burton and Malcolm Christie
In goal for Walter Smiths' Everton is Paul Gerrard and Andy Pettinger. In defence is Tony Hibbert, Peter Clarke, Richard Gough, David Unsworth, Steve Watson, David Weir, Alessandro Pistone and Michael Ball. In midfield is Leon Osman, Danny Cadamarteri, Mark Pembridge, Niclas Alexandersson, Stephen Hughes and Thomas Gravesen. Up-front for the toffee's are Francis Jeffers, Phil Jevons, Duncan Ferguson and Kevin Campbell
In goal for George Burley's Ipswich side is 34 year old Mike Salmon and 21 year old Richard Wright. In defence is Fabian Wilnis, Wayne Brown, Jamie Clapham, Gary Croft, Tony Mowbray, Mark Venus, Hermann Hreidarsson and Titus Bramble. In midfield is Matt Holland, Jermaine Wright and Jim Magilton.
