The World Is My Oyster

Welcome to my third FM adventure.

The previous two instalments were what they were and I will go for a more relaxed story here which I hope you guys enjoy. Your support for my previous two stories has been great and I hope this one isn’t too far behind. I’m looking at this story as more of a hobby whilst mirroring the life of a real manager to deliver a realistic experience and one I hope you will all love to follow.

Thank You and Enjoy!
Good luck mate!

ROSSI HEADS FOR THE EXIT

Sampdoria manager Delio Rossi has confirmed he will leave the club after a disagreement with President Edoardo Garrone.

Rossi was unhappy with how the club was being run financially and felt he could no longer work with what was in front of him in an exclusive interview with Gazzetta Italia.

Further reports suggest a complication with his wages may have added fuel the fire between the two in which leaves Rossi in a position to sue the club.

Rossi represented Fiorentina and Palermo before taking on the Sampdoria job and is famously known for launching the careers of Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Munoz and Josip Ilicic.

While at Fiorentina however, Rossi was sacked after throwing punches at Adem Ljajic who reacted sarcastically due to being substituted.

Luigi Del Neri and Ricardo Sa Pinto are believed to be amongst the favourites to take the hot seat at Sampdoria who recently gained promotion to Serie A but find themselves in financial troubles.
Are you going to be a fictional character this time?

RUI COSTA LANDS IL DORIA JOB

Rui Costa has been announced as the new manager of Sampdoria following the resignation of Delio Rossi.

Rui Costa will have the difficult task of keeping Sampdoria up on a restricted budget as he enters his first job as a manager.

The former Portuguese international represented Portugal 94 times and scored a total of 24 goals before retiring at the end of Euro 2004.

The new Sampdoria manager, nicknamed “Il Maestro”, began his career at Benfica before attracting the likes of Fiorentina where he made his name, playing 215 times.

Rui Costa then earned a move to AC Milan where he would play 124 times before ending his career back at Benfica.

The 41 year old signs a one year deal after leaving his post at Benfica as Director of Football.
Glad your back - what a legend Rui Costa is

Rui Costa!
Can you please explain the title? :))
You are back! I'm happy for that... But... I don't think I will enjoy your story: a legend like Rui Costa, who played for A.C. Milan, my team, and I loved him... Manager of the HATRED blucerchiati?!?!?!? :/ Mmm... I don't really know if I will be following... :P

It was the only team I felt I could squeeze in. A team that's OK, yet not got a great reputation currently. Don't you worry, Rui Costa will hopefully take charge or the Rossoneri!!!

Good luck! Sampdoria are a nice club in Italy I think. Not too good, but good enough to push on from the top half.
