Hello
I dont know if this topics was discussed before, if it was i am very sorry.
does anyone of you find wages not realistic, i mean they are very high and the players r not very elastic. for example i buy a transfer listed player from a bigger or even similar team(all of the are transfer listed by request, for not playing much) i guarantee them first team football but they wont come with a lower wage. or some times when i offer new contracts to my players they sometimes want double from what they are getting.

Thank you
As far as I know, wages are determined by many factors. If you have a young player, playing in the first team for 5 years on 1Kpw wage, of course he will want more than doubled wage. I some cases, you can lower their wage (if they don't play much, if they get old...), but it's also natural that they want bigger wages every time. I think wages are not so unrealistic. It is possible to keep them low, for example I won La Liga with Sevilla and all my players had less than 50Kpw.

Ok i understand what you're saying, after u won the league dont your players start demanding better contracts, or when a player that is backup/rotation playing maximum 10 games a season and after 1 game with a rating 8 or more starts complaining about his contract in my opinion this is not normal
I think its normal...

I mean like players feel like their good performances should be rewarded somehow, and what better way to reward them then higher wages for a longer term?

And if you've won the league i think asking a higher wage is also normal, because if i was a player that was in a team that won the league, i'd ask for a higher wage because i feel like they owe me for helping the club winning the league.

Age is also a factor i assume, if a player is aged 35+ theyll accept a lower wage in my games, but young players that are performing usually demand a higer one.

I managed to lower players' wages with bonuses, for example offer defenders goal bonuses, offer team of the year bonus to your backup players, promise them bonus for 20 goals per season and so on. Also, when a player agrees with your terms, try lowering his wage for one unit and suggest again, you can save some bucks there.
Another method is to lower the wage but offer a decent appearance fee, still eats your finances but at least protects your wage budget ;)
