We aim to take Mansfield to the Premier League within five years, but we need to avoid the play-offs... because last time I was arrested!

"John and I have a five year plan for the club. For John that ends with us reaching the Championship but for me it's definitely us getting in to the Premier League."

Promotion next year for us is absolutely a realistic target. And we want to be champions, too. I got arrested the last time we were in the play-offs so we should probably avoid that again! But I can't take the stress of the play-offs. Anybody involved in football knows it's the most nerve wrecking experience there is. Last time we were in it we were favourites but still got knocked out. So we want to avoid that.

We've got a core group of players and staff that we want to talk to. We don't want to hold anybody back and we want to make sure that anybody who is at the football club wants to be here. We want to make sure all our players want to play for Mansfield and that we keep that sense of community and team spirit, because it's been so important these last few months as we've aimed for the title.

We set goals at the start of each seasos. Firstly we had to make sure we were eligible for promotion because when we took over, Mansfield didn't actually own the ground. So we had to make sure we got over that first predicament so we could actually get promoted.
Well, the players surely will have extra motivation to get to the Prem with her in the dressing room. ;)

Looks to be a very promising story, you can count on me following it!
Well i would love to know what she was arrested for! I think this looks awesome.

Mansfield Sign 4 On Loan

http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/b513/MrJK1/Mansfield%20Town/1_zpsb9a4906c.png

Mansfield Town today signed 4 players on loan to boost there squad for the Blue Square Premier campaign, all of the players have been signed on loan until the end of the seasons and they all have the option to be re called by the club that's loaning them out.

The first player to come on loan is Boltons 22 year old goalkeeper Rob Lainton, Rob has been at Bolton since 2006/7 season but has yet to make a first team appearance for the club, Carolyn Radford believes he will give 33 year old Alan Marriot tough competition in the season to come.

Mansfield have signed 22 year old striker Wes Fletcher from Burnley, Wed started his career at Liverpool in 2006 before then signing for Burnley, in his time at Burnley he's rarely started any games and been constantly loaned out to League One and League Two teams to gain some experience.

Youngster Adam Dodd is the next to be brought in on loan from Blackpool, the 20 year old left back will almost certainly be playing most games next season as the left back position is one of the weakest so it will be great experience for the young lad to get under his belt, last season he was on loan at Ayr in the Scottish Second Division where he made 16 appearances and scoring 2 goals.

20 Year old Danny Foster as joined up with the Mansfield squad after being bought in on loan from Wycombe Wanderers, the strong right back will have his work cut out after Lee Beevers looks to fill that slot almost all season depending on any injuries but he will more than likely feature at some point in the season.
