You can always use the official post on SI forum (though you need to have an account to access it), but I thought we should have our own part. Ingame FMScout09 is a great new scouting tool and we can help the developer improve it by posting our problems and ideas.

Feel free to post errors, suggestions and misc thoughts regarding Ingame FMScout09. I'll try to get Kostas (Immuner, the creator of this new utility) over here to take part in the discussion if possible.
So, let's begin =D

Hi all,

I thought I'd give this a go before the release of genie scout, but I can't seem to get it working. When I click load FM2009, nothing happens.

Does it use the save file like genie scout?

Any ideas would be helpful.
it worked 1st time for me. make sure you've got compress saved files unticked and try that.
You need to have FM 2009 running before clicking the Load button. It doesn't work like Genie.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

longest error message in the world, does anybody have any ideas as to what i'm doing wrong? i realise that its probably because its new and full of bugs but any help would be welcome
Hi guys,

it is an ingame scout, it's not like Genie's.
Genie's scout reads a save game and displays its data.
This one reads the game's memory while it runs.
Run FM 2009 9.10 (maybe 9.0.0 too), load your game and then run the scout.

As for the last error, you probably havent extracted all the files from the rar file you downloaded. You need to have those two dll's to run the scout.
I think this Scout is a great utility since Genie is still "cooking" his Scout
which I think is the most complete out there...
But in my opinion you really need to fix the Staff issue... (everyone being Assistant Manager and Goalkeeper Coach) I really need coaches man! :p
But I thank you very much for spending your time to create an utility like this one!
Cheers mate =D
Its fixed man...I will release a new version today maybe.
Just trying to see if i can fix a bug with displaying stadium information first.
Hi guys,

First of all it is a great tool thank you m8.I think adding player ratings would be great...

New version not working at all. No errors, just doesnt load up.

Trying to find an old version.
older versions are now available on the website.

firstly try downloading again, fixed some minor issues such as searching by nickname and a crash on the clear buttons.

Secondly to help you i have noticed that sometimes this happens and it is solved by closing the scout and running it again.
It's still in beta, so sorry if you get any weird errors.
If you extract the files on a folder which contains previous files, make sure you overwrite the dll's too.

Thank you and let me know.

Just experienced the same thing, installing the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 did the trick. For some reason I personally couldnt install the framework for like two weeks because it wouldnt download but it seems to work now.
