In real life, Barnet were relegated into the Blue Square Premier, so I have used the FM editor to move us into the blue square premier.

Changes I have made:
Changed Division
Removed Players (who has left in real life)
Added 1 player who signed for Barnet (Marsh-Brown)
Changed to our new stadium (The Hive)

Davids quits managing side of Barnet

Edgar Davids has today announced that he will no longer be manager at Barnet FC following their relegation. It is believed that he left due to the club's relegation from the football league.

Davids has made a statement saying:
"I have enjoyed my managerial career at Barnet but I just feel like football management isn't for me and I'm just too gutted from being relegated on goal difference. I would like to continue playing for the bees but that's up to the new boss"

Chairman Kleanthous said
"I am incredibly gutted that Edgar has decided to leave us as I would loved to have kept him on as Head Coach but, he obviously feels that his time as a coach at the club has come to an end and I hope he continues to play for us. Searching for the new manager has already begun and we are evaluating the candidates and hope to appoint a new gaffer by July"

Barnet appoint Currie as Head Coach

Following the resignation of Edgar Davids, former bee Darren Currie has been apointed as the club's new Head Coach. Darren Currie made 127 appearance for the bees and has now returned to Barnet. Howver this time, instead of being at Underhill, he is at Barnet's new stadium "The Hive". The Hive has a capacity of just over 5,000 with over 3,000 seats in it and it is hoped that this new stadium can be good luck for the bees.

Currie made this statement on the club website:
"I am really delighted to have been asked back to the club and I really hope that I can make a difference to the club and also it's fortunes in getting back to the football league. I think Barnet are lucky in keeping a majority of their key players which will make it easier, the media say we will finish fifth but we could win the league if we try hard enough. Oh, and Davids will play!"

Currie: "We can win promotion!"

In an interview only three days before the start of the season; that he believes that his side can win promotion to the football league and could possibly win the league. He has said that he has finances of only 200k and a 0 transfer budget. Currie is worried because an estimated amount for the end of the season is a loss of over 400k. Due to these issues, he is relying on loans and free transfers and even players that are at clubs but get a real bargain. Despite these issues, Currie extremely believes his side can win promotion based on his sides performance on the training ground. The media may think that they will be 5th, but Currie wants to prove the wrong!
