While I'm on about it, why the hell is he trying to make his utilty seem like a legitmate way to "enchance" or "deepen" your FM experiance, FMGenie was, is and always will be a cheat in one form or another, just now it's a lousey excuse for a cheat, the least he could do it demand $5, not like it cost him anything to make (probably).

FMGenie was so popular tool over the past few years,so i'm not really suprised that it's not free anymore...anyways...my opinion is that nothing can be protected or hidden on the internet,and someone will buy it and share it...it's just a matter of time :yes ...i'm not an expert but maybe a cracked version will come up...too early to say ...untill then positional rating is our only giude ..oh...and by the way...how come edwin van der sar is the best player in the world in his role? (acording to Genie) :no

If he has managed to find away for genie to determine some of the things that other utilities can't (I'm thinking of the sale price, which some people have claimed would have required reverse engineering some aspects of the game) then maybe he might have genuine claim for wanting cash. But if it still has the same flaws then, unless he's kicking some cash back to Michael Nygreen, he's got some cheek to ask for cash. But if you don't like it, don't pay it. Someone will always come up with a free alternative.

I have the same problem. I use FM Genie Scout once, I've close it. Next time that I've tried to use it, it gave me that error. I've deleted the fm genie folder, extracted again from zip file. And it works. But It's really boring because you have to do this every fucking time
