Loan - NEED HELP

I'm on a save with Scunthorpe united. In my first year we were promoted from League 1 into the Championship and we're currently second, with Leicester infront by 4 points.

I had quite a few loan players last season and then after the season finished, they were released so I decided to sign a few (Alnwick, McAleny etc.)

However, now when I want to sign a player on loan, it doesn't let me? The option just isn't there..Is this because I'm in December and have to wait till January? It's really bugging me as there are a couple of people that I really want to sign on loan but I'm not getting the chance..

Well December isn't when transfers are allowed, permanently or loan. It's in the summer (June-August?) and January...that's sorta common and basic knowledge, even IRL it's like that

Sometimes the option isn't there if the player is marked as unavailable for loan by their manager, that could also be part of the problem? See what difference January makes

9thCodebreaker I know that which is why I said I guess I'll have to wait till January, just my point is I've been able to sign players on loan without it being in the set months which confused me a little..I've known that since I've followed football haha, maybe I just wasn't very clear but thanks anyway

Zeichael, I thought that too but it's happened with many of the players who are even available for loan! I will just have to wait until January I guess
