Shock resignation
Breaking News coming out of Sky Sports is that Mauricio Pochettino manager of Southampton has resigned from his position as Head Coach of the Saints to take up the role of Manager of his home nation Argentina national side. The much admired manager had only recently taken up the role as Manager at the Saints which is why this is a shock to all connected to the Saints. We’ll bring the news to you as it comes.

Mr Cortese we understand you have something to announce?
“Yes, this news is sudden and unfortunate but as the press has been reporting for the past few hours Mr Pochettino has offered his resignation and has taken up a job offer elsewhere. We will not stand in the way of one man’s dream of managing his home nation’s senior side therefore I accepted his resignation”
Mr Cortese with Mr Pochettino leaving have you any candidates to potentially replace him?
“Due to the sudden departure of Mr Pochettino we the board have no candidates lined up. That is all”

Mr Adams you have just been given your first managerial position, how are you feeling?
“I’m humbled to be offered this position. Southampton are in the premier division in the world and I look forward to the task at hand”
What sort of manager do you plan to be?
“ I’ve learnt from the best as in Jose The Special One Mourinho. I’ve learnt after being his shadow all those years how to use the special touch to get the results and stay at the top. With this great Football club there is endless amounts of potential just waiting to be used.”
Unlike Mourinho you have a limited budget how do you plan to deal with that?
“Jose doesn’t need a budget to be special. Neither do I, That will be all Thank you.”
