Dan Mancini has been named as the next Ajax manager after Frank De Boer left due to mutual consent.
After being asked about what he planned to do as manager of the biggest club in holland Mancini Replied " obviously my short term plan is to keep the tradition of this club by winning a trophy, long term wise I want to make Ajax the biggest club in Europe."
After these comments Mancini is definitely under pressure by the Ajax fans.
One supporter was quoted in saying " I think this is an exciting time for Ajax, but also now with Mancini I believe we can play attractive football "
When asked about Eriksen's situation Mancini calmly replied " there isn't a situation as far as I'm concerned Christian is an Ajax player and that won't change unless an extraordinary bid is made. "
