Villas Boas Walks Out On Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas Boas has today sensationally quit the club despite only being appointed manager 8 days ago. 34 year old Villas Boas has reportedly been unhappy that he has received a lack of support from the clubs fans after his appointment, and also at the fact that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has restricting policies for him to follow in the transfer market. AVB had first came to England as a manager at the start of the 11/12 season, when he replaced Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, but his reign lasted just until March, when he was dismissed for poor results and a poor league standing. His achievements at Portuguese club FC Porto were highly impressive, winning the Portuguese Supercup, the Portuguese Cup, and had an unbeaten season on course to winning the Primeria Liga, before rapping up the season with a victory in the UEFA Europa League. Speculation has been running wild over who will be the clubs next manager, but the fans must be hoping it is someone who is experienced in football and will not slip up.
Good luck! :D I know this gon' be good! :)
good luck btw :)
Good luck mate :)
Good luck! Nice banner, btw ;)

Spurs Appoint Familiar Face

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has revealed he is delighted to announce fan favourite Ledley King as the clubs new manager. 31 year old King has no managerial experience, which could be something that comes back to haunt the former club captain. King has enjoyed a great 13 year long career at Spurs, where he came up from the youth ranks, and it could have been better if he was not plagued with so many injuries, but won 21 caps for England scoring twice, and playing 268 games for Spurs scoring 10 goals. Fans have said on forums, through emails and over Facebook and Twitter that they praise this appointment, as King is someone who knows the club inside out and can also change the style of the team which could also help them challenge for a Champions League place and also a Premier League title, something Spurs have never had. It has also been confirmed that King has been given a 1 year deal worth around £65,000 per week.

Ledley is such a beast - i'll never forget the tackle that he did on Robben! Let's hope he does Spurs proud :D

Didn't really look at pre-made ones, so i just went with a good formation and based it on the boards request on attacking football. And looking for a couple of players, mainly a RM and a LB
A black manager! You don't see that too often in English football! Kudos to you for thinking outside the box for a progressive-minded pick.
Woo! Another Spurs story! Good job in choosing King, was going to be one of the people I did a story on. Good luck :)

Spurs Announce Designs For New Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur today revealed that they have been granted planning permission to build a new stadium. The construction of Tottenham Stadium will cost around £196m, although this figure will be offset by the £63m the club will receive by selling White Hart Lane and the board have also secured a loan of £133m to help finance the stadium project. Additional funding for the project has also been secured with a stadium sponsorship deal worth £75m. The new stadium is scheduled to be finished on Wednesday 25th June 2015 and it will boast undersoil heating and a capacity of around 48,899. Manager Ledley King has recently been quoted to have said "that this is a fantastic step forward for the club and this could be the next step to success".
