Abramovich searches for new Head Coach!

Abramovich has said that following the leaving of Rafeal Benitez, he wants to find the man that will make his club achieve success. He has already said Mourinho will not be hired! It is already known by the public that it will be a tough person to find and he wants to spend more that 24 hours (like Benitez) before hiring a new Coach as he wants the decision to be well thought out.

He has not specified who will get the job but many people have been linked with the job, including former Chelsea players.

Odds:
Roberto Mancini 3/1
Alex Ferguson 5/1
David Moyes 5/1
Frank Lampard 6/1
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank 8/1
Gus Poyet 11/1
Ray Wilkins 14/1
Good luck
Good Start
How does SAF get on the list? Why not JT? :P

Chelsea appoint Hasselbaink

Chelsea have appointed former Chelsea and Leeds striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been appointed as the new Chelsea Head Coach. He was appointed after Benitez's contract expired in June; Hasselbaink will be having his first press conference within the next two days to dicuss jobs and maybe even transfer targets.

Abramovic has set the new boss a budget of believed to be over 50 MILLION in which to build up the squad and win some trophies. Hasselbaink's main mission that he has been given is to win at least 1 trophy this season or at least reach a semi-final/ top 4 of the league. Champions League probably top 8
If I were you I would sign Falcao for Chelsea as he was very successful for me when I did a save with them, scored 61 goals for me! Also Samuel Umtiti is very good but you might not be able to get him and Falcao. Good luck and im looking forward :)

Hasselbaink: JFH

R:
First of all, how does it feel to be the new manager of Chelsea?

JFH:
I am absolutely delighted as it is a club I admire and have also played for!

R:
Now, you're only 40. Do you think that being a young manager might prevent you from success?

JFH:
No. I think that being younger I have an advantage over the other managers. I have a younger mind which will hopefully outsmart other managers.

R:
Who do you plan to sell?

JFH:
It's a tough one, becuase Chelsea have such a strong squad and it's hard to keep morale up when a player leaves but I do have a few people who I wish to sell.

R:
Could you reveal who you plan to bring in?

JFH:
(laughs). Yes. I do have a few players in mind.

R:
Who are they?

JFH:
All I can say is that I am after a Right-Back. Central-Midfielder and a couple of Strikers.

R:
Because of the cost of players being really high. How will you cope?

JFH:
All the deals I plan to do I will use future fees so I don't pay the whole sum of money at the same time. Some money paid over 4 years.

R:
That's all. Thank you!

JFH:
Thanks.

Storari stated:
"I am happy to join Chelsea and move to London. The move will help me in many ways, not just the football but to live in such a great city as well. I also hope to challenge Cech for some first team football but it's all up to the gaffer"

Chelsea strengthen attack with Soldado!

The third signing of the summer for Chelsea is Valencia striker Roberto Soldado. He has joined the club on a deal worth 27m. This deal includes an up straight payment of 10m with 17m to be paid over the next 48 months.

Hasslebaink said:
"We really needed another striker to strengthen our attack. We approached many strikers including Cavani, Higuain and Lewandowski. All of their fees were extremely high and one of them wouldn't leave the club. Cavani was too expensive, Higuain would't join, but Soldado was just right (laughs)"

Soldado stated:
"To join Chelsea is something I am really happy to happen. I really hope I can help Chelsea to fight for the premier league title once again!"
Decent signings, not sure why you'd need Storari though, assuming you have Schwarzer :P
So how long are you planning to stick to the story this time? One week? Three days?

Good question. Now in real life, i'm now in October, and there's something abut this story that I just love doing! I'm really wanting to stick to it!

Sadly, we don't have Schwarer. But we needed a better backup 'keeper than Turnbull and Hilario. Besides, it was the director of football who brought him in. I scouted him and he looked good!

Chelsea splash cash on Thiago

http://www.sportsbully.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/792176_sport-fotbal-spanelsko-barcelona-thiago-alcantara.jpg

Chelsea have splashed out a huge amount of dosh to sign up Barcelona's young midfield talent Thiago Alcantra for a total fee of 30.5m. This will include 12m being paid straight away and 18.5m being paid over the net 4 years.

Hasslebaink stated:
"Thiago is a great, young talent who can pass the ball, work well as a team but most of all, score goals. The only doubt is the fact of him being injury prone in the past but hopefully this won't effect him and his progress at the club.

Thiago said:
"I am delighted to join Chelsea football club and to join the club and I hope to succeed well and make good progress not just as a footballer but as an overall person!"
