Roberto Mancini Sacked As City Manager

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour today dismissed manager Roberto Mancini because the Italian is to controversial. Mancini has been involved in a number of bust ups with A.C. Milan striker Mario Balotelli, which led the bad boy to leave the club recently and return to his native land of Italy. He has also been known to publicly criticise his players too, blaming Joe Hart in the media for one mistake he made in the Manchester derby against Manchester United. It is also believed another reason Mancini has been dismissed is that Mansour and other board members are disappointed in the clubs progress in European competition and would like a manager to be brought in who also has better people skills with his players. Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini has been touted as the favourite to take over, but as of yet, nothing has materialised and we can only expect someone with a vast knowledge of the game to be brought in.
