Three Massive Signings Spells End Of Chelsea's Spending

Chelsea have easily won the best signings of the summer with another three quality signings for the Blue's. Earlier this morning it broke that Chelsea had signed Thiago from Barcelona for £25 million, Phil Jones for £20 million and Varane from Real Madrid for a fee of £20 million.

It is obvious that the signing of Phil Jones and Varane is to replace Cahill and Luiz who were sold earlier last week and now Chelsea's young defence is now complete as they will most likely set up with three young defenders in Jones, Azpilicueta, Alaba but also with the experienced head of Ivanovic. Where as Varane will be here to be a top quality substitute and developing youngster who Bean believes has the potential to become world-class.

Thiago is quite simply a young rotation option who Bean brought because he knows he can offer something to the team and he has great potential since he is only 20 years of age. Chelsea have strengthened all over and Bean has kept his word in getting youngsters.

Title Is A Reality

Joshua Bean held his first press conference since the six huge signings earlier in the week. But Bean wanted to make sure he didn't only discus the new signings and he looked just as at ease as he did in his first conference. This was not a attitude of a normal new manager this was the attitude of a veteran manager who knew what to say, how to say it and when to say it. He was cool and collected at all times.

The press room was full by the time that Bean took his seat at 10:30 AM sharp with his bottle of water with him and his Chelsea blazer, similar to which Jose 'The Special One' used to wear. Bean sat down and smiled politely at the press.

"So any questions?" he asked calmly.

"So do you think you overpaid or underpaid for your six players?" asked the BBC.

"Well I think that I paid exactly what I wanted and what the other teams wanted as a minimum. So to answer your question no I do not think that I have overpaid or underpaid. I have paid exactly what it took to get this world class players and high potential youngsters here at the Bridge. So in an nutshell. No I did not."

"So how important are these signings to your ambitions this season?" asked ITV.

"Well I think it is obvious that they are important otherwise I would not of brought them would I!" Laughed Bean.

"What are you expectations this season?" asked SkySPORTS

"Well good question. What I expect is for us to challenge for the title till the very last couple of weeks at the very least we should be neck and neck with the likes of City and United at the very least for the majority of this season. We have all won the title before so know how it is done. The players I have brought are good enough to win titles and so are my current players. A title is a real possibility. As for cup competitions. I think we will not in the Champions league but the FA Cup and Capital One Cup are a real possibility."

"Who is your key player this year" asked Channel 4

"I don't have one. Everyone who starts have an equal role to play. There is no point having a striker that scores two a game if your defence concedes two a game is there!" laughed Bean.

"Thanks for coming I have to go now. My Mums on the phone!" Chuckled Bean as he got up and left the press room.

Another conference..... Another blinding success.
The title is certainly a reality. It better be, you're not a true manager of Chelsea if it's not :P Sorry,, I feel very passionately about my beloved Blues.

Community Sheild

The winners of the Premier League and FA Cup holders go head to head in the traditional pre-season curtain raiser. Some suggest that the Community Shield is a pointless fixture which is overly expensive for fans and players are not even that bothered with the result. But this year Bean has promised fans that he is going to field a full strength side and tell them to play at 110% for the entire 90 minutes. He promised the fans a first match trophy to celebrate!

Line Ups

As promised Bean played his full strength side and City also fielded theirs so this is guaranteed to be a great game!

The Game

OO:00 And we are off!

11:00 Silva through to Tevez he shoots! Wide just good start by City.

23:00 Hazard to take the corner on this near side. Aimed at the near post GOOOOOOAAL!!! DEBUTANT PHIL JONES WITH A BULLET HEADER FROM SEVEN YARDS OUT! 1-0 Chelsea!

29:00 Hazard one on one with Hart hits the post!!! So close!

34:00 Tevez one-two with Silva he is through it's in!!! ONE ALL!! Wait disallowed still one nil to Chelsea.

45:00 Half-time good stuff here from both sides!

69:00 Corner taken by Silva. GOOOOOAL! EQUALISER BY KOMPANY! ONE ALL!

78:00 Mata delightful chip to Hazard cleared of the line!

90:00 Penalties it is!!

Penalties

City 1: Dzeko to take the first of the shoot out at the Chelsea end. SAVED! CECH SAVES WITH HIS RIGHT HAND!

Chelsea 1: Hazard steps up. GOAL! Bottom right corner.

City 2: Aguero needs to score to keep City in the shoot out realistically. POST!

Chelsea 2: Mikel (before he was sold) GOAL!!

City 3: Kaka with all the pressure.. CONVERTED WHAT A PENALTY!

Chelsea 3: Ba's first touch of the game this is. And he scores! Chelsea on the edge of victory here!

City 4: Zabaleta needs to score. HE DOES!

Chelsea 4: If Alaba scores Chelsea wins. On his debut not a bad way to introduce himself! GOAL!! CHELSEA WIN THE SHEILD!

Great Update mate! Also some fantastic signings! Especially Varane and Thiago. And with Alaba, Fellaini, Jones and Lewa you are building a team that will be fantastic for years to come! Remember to give game time to Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Kalas when they come back from their loans!

Courtois will be main keeper next year so that's alright! Lukaku I will give sub appearances, cup matches and easy European matches. De Bruyne maybe another loan and same for Kalas!

August: Flying Start For Chelsea!

Joshua Bean was under instant pressure to succeed from the Chelsea fans especially after defeating Manchester City in the community shield. Fans expected Chelsea to brush aside Stoke and Swansea in the first two league matches of the season but the match against At.Madrid is being called right down the middle with both teams given a good chance to come away with the trophy according to many betting groups.

Premier League Season

Stoke VS Chelsea At The Britannia

Chelsea's away fans were loud and boisterous as always as they got ready for the first game of the season away from home at a very hard working and strong Stoke City. The likes of Hazard and Lewandowski were going to face tough debuts in the Premier League against the likes of Huth.

A empathic victory in my first league game as Chelsea boss. I am very pleased with our solid defence against a side very good from set-pieces. I am also happy how all my goals were scored by different goal scorers showing all my players can help with the goals this season. Another positive is the dominance is possession I had. All in all a quality first game!

Chelsea VS Swansea At The Bridge

My first home game of the season for Chelsea against a great Swansea side. The home fans were expecting a dominant match especially after their more than great first match against Stoke City.

A very hard fought match but I came away with another three points!

At.Madrid VS Chelsea At Stade Louis European Super Cup

The biggest game of my season thus far in the European Super Cup. A match for the two best sides in Europe to face off to prove who is really the best team in Europe. Chelsea are slight favourites for this match which should prove to be a very tight affair.

A sensational result in a match I only expected to edge by one goal or even lose but to storm away with a three goal cushion in a crushing 4-1 victory I very surprised at the ease of this victory! The Chelsea fans and players will be celebrating long into the night and delighted that we have two trophies in four games!

My Awards

Player of the month:

After a sensational first month of three wins out of three with ten goals scored in the process it is hard to choose one player to be man of the month but I have just about came to a decision. And I have given the award to...... MATA! A man who has chipped in with two goals and three assists out of ten goals.
http://www.stretford-end.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/juan-mata-to-united.jpg

Goal of the month:

Ten goals to choose from but the pick of the punch goes to.... OSCAR! A twenty yard rocket into the top left corner At.Madrid set us on our way to a huge victory!

A great start to the season and already 2 trophies in the bag. Some great signings also and I think you will win the league :P

Super September!

After a 100% first month for Joshua Bean and his Chelsea side, Bean was desperate to keep this top form running and to try and secure a lead at top spot in the league and to progress in the Capital One Cup. The fans called the first month a sign of things to come and Bean himself declared that things were only going to get better this month for his side and the fans.

Chelsea VS Reading At The Bridge

What was expected by the fans was a huge and comfortable victory against a fairly week side especially at home. I fielded a full strength side and expected a easy win.

A very tough victory in a match we should of dominated. Cech had a fairly poor performance and allowed a soft equaliser in the 22nd minute against McAnuff and the defence were very complacent. But a win is a win and another three points in the bag!

Chelsea VS Celtic Champions League At The Bridge

A chance to play my second team with the likes of Terry, Thiago and Varane. I expected a win and this team should give me that!

A tough match but I am now top of my group after the first game! Very boring overall however.

Chelsea VS Aston Villa At The Bridge

A match that I wanted us to improve hugely in. Despite two wins on the trot this month we had not been playing well enough so far. So I wanted at least a win with at least a two goal cushion!

A emphatic victory and I am delighted at how good the performance was. I am also very happy to see how well Lewandowski is doing after a poor first three games. Hazard has also been quality so far and carries on the form this game!

Tottenham VS Chelsea At The Lane

Arguably the hardest match of my managerial career so far and of Chelsea's season this year. Me and my side have to travel to a Spurs side whose last home game was a victory over Manchester United. I knew it was not going to be an easy game but I still set my team to go all out and out score the Spurs side.

A great victory! After going one goal behind after a sloppy Lennon goal my side hit back with three great team goals two being slick passing moves to set up Mata and one being a well worked corner for Jones to head home from close range to secure the win against local rivals and keep this superb winning streak going!

Everton VS Chelsea At Goodison Park

A hard match was on the cards today since Everton had been in great form so far this season and they were not going to play badly at home!

Another huge victory and I carry on marching with more and more wins!

My Awards

Player of the month:

Lewandowski wins player of the month hands down with many goals this month and many assists from his poacher role. He has linked up very well with the 'magical three' of Mata, Oscar and Hazard. Lewandowski has really moulded well into my team this month!
http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Sport/Pix/columnists/2013/4/25/1366879875936/Robert-Lewandowski-010.jpg

Goal of the month:

Again Lewandowski wins this award with a great goal against Villa. He received a through ball from Mata and looked up and first time lobbed the keeper from 18 yards out!

What a start to the season, surely top no? Keep it up! :D

Outstanding October

After Joshua Bean's and Chelsea's 100% start after two months Bean was really happy with life at the Blue's. He will be looking to carry on this fine form in the League, Capital One Cup and Champions League.

Gladbach VS Chelsea At Borussia Park

A great chance to play my reserves in a strong competition to keep them happy with some game time. I expected a tough match which I would just edge.

A great match in which my reserves, Moses in particular, looking amazing with a hat-trick. A great match for the away fans and I am slowly securing the top spot of this group!

Chelsea VS Watford At The Bridge Capital One Cup

Another chance to play my reserves and I am expecting a easy win.

A very hard fought match but in the end the quality of my players proved to much for Watford with even Torres scoring twice!

Chelsea VS Manchester United

Easily the biggest match of the season so far I am certain. Manchester United and Chelsea have been part of some classic matches in recent years. Most recently a 3-3 draw in 2012 after United were 3-0 down with just 35 minutes to go they somehow managed to get a point from the match. I was not sure what way this match would go. I had been on superb form this season but who ever bets against United?

I did say biggest match of the season. What about best result of the season! I am in shock that I managed to embarrass United like I have done. They are arguably the best team in English history and nearly never lose by five goal margins so to be able to score five and keep a clean sheet is quite amazing!

Sunderland VS Chelsea At The Stadium Of Light

After the United match I was certain a victory was on the cards against bottom of the table Sunderland.

A nice result which saw Hazard prove his price tag!

Olympiakos VS Chelsea At Georgios Karaiskakis

Yet again I am playing my reserves in a Champions league fixture against a side that have done little in the first two games of the Champions League campaign.

Torres was the star man as his double helped put Olympiakos to the sword! Great victory.

Fulham VS Chelsea At Craven Cottage

A very intense and fierce local rivalry was on the cards here as Martin Jol claimed I wasn't a very good manager! I looked to prove him wrong!

A easy win and I proved the Fulham manager wrong as we brushed aside our local rivals!

Chelsea VS Leeds At The Bridge Capital One Cup

Yet again I am playing my reserves in a non league match.

Another great win and I march on further in the smallest of the cups I am in.

League

It may be really early in the season but I am already starting to pull very far away from the remainder of the pack.

Champions League

Nice to be top!

My Awards

Player of the month:

I am going to give player of the month to Hazard. He has scored many goals including the double against Sunderland and has assisted or started many attacks that led to goals. His pace, dribbling and passing is to much for most defences to cope with especially as they are struggling to cope with Mata through the centre.
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/11/07/article-2229119-15DF51C7000005DC-269_634x404.jpg

Goal of the month:

I am awarding this to Oscar who scored a 30 yard thunderbolt against Manchester United to secure the win. He received the ball from Hazard just in front of him. He ran onto the ball and first touch fired it into the top right corner. The keeper had barely moved!

What a result against United you will win the league no doubt :P
Brilliant performance against Red Devils and Fulham, doing my team proud mate keep the great work up.

Do you plan on keeping Marko Marin or selling him asap?
1
wellsy1498: Thanks mate! I am shocked I got that win :)

Bourani44: Thanks a lot mate! And as for Marin I will sell him next summer. He has a very average PA. He starts with a 4* PA but it quickly drops to 3 and a half. Not good enough.
