Transfer requests

Can I unsettle a transfer target to the point where they ask their club for a transfer? I'm trying to buy Porto's James Rodriguez but they're asking for 80M pounds and no way in hell I'm paying that kind of money. He wants to join but they just won't sell.

You could certainly use the media to unsettle him and create tension at his club (just look at what Real Madrid do in real life!) but in terms of the price there isn't too much you can do at this point... if he really wants to come to you the only thing to hope for is that he will run his contract down and not resign so that the price comes down... or in a perfect world he comes on a free

Sadly he will probably have a couple of years left on his contract most likely... less than a year and the price should start to drop dramatically.

I know im a bit late but try putting in a good money bid say 30 mil or so and if the reject it the player might request a transfer and you can get him for a fraction of what they where asking
