An affair with a member of
Fenway Sports Group has today resulted in
Bayern Munich manager
Pep Guardiola being appointed as manager of
Liverpool. These bizarre circumstances have left
Bayern without a manager and
Brendan Rodgers without a club - just a week ago having stable contracts. Speaking about the job,
Guardiola said:
"While I was optimistic about my time at Bayern, I couldn't resist the urge to join Liverpool after recent rumours emerging. I refuse to confirm or deny any rumours of an affair. This wouldn't be the only reason to join a club with such history and such a great squad, and I hope that the affair rumours will stop soon and that I can enjoy my time at Liverpool."
Many fans are furious with the controversies in the past week, worrying if the club they love are about to go downhill.
