Ittihad Alexandria win Egyptian Premier League!

In his first full season at Ittihad Alexandria, Steve Kean has won the Egyptian Premier League. The previous winners, Al-Ahly, had won the League for 9 consecutive years, with Kean's side preventing a decade of Trophy wins for them. Kean's side are still undefeated in the competition, with 5 games still left to play. Ittihad currently have a 16 point lead at the top, meaning it isn't possible to be caught by second place, Zamalek.

Ittihad also have the Egyptian Cup Final coming up against Ismaily. If they were to continue there unbeaten streak and win this game, Kean will have done the double in his first full season, something that has never been done in the history of Egyptian football.

Kean has stated that he is ecstatic with the season that Ittihad have had and hopes that they can continue there unbeaten spree despite no longer needing the points. Kean has thanked 2 players in particular for leading the team to glory...

Glaydson

Glaydson played a more attacking role this season than he is used to, being a DM. However, he seemed to shine, there was something special. He was the teams engine, pushed the team to do there best, the motivator that made all the players want to strive or success. In 29 appearances Glaydson has gathered 1 goal, 4 assists, and an average rating of 7.24.

Misael

Misael has been the main goal scorer for Ittihad. Even with playing alongside 2 other ST's most games, Misael has out shined them all. However, this does not mean he is not a team player. Whilst so far gathering an astonishing 20 goals in the league, he has also assisted his teammates 15 times, meaning he is a great team player, and just generally a great player for the squad.
One step closer!
Congrats!

Aye, Ittihad Alexandra : CL winners 2015?;)
Ahmed Mahmoud | More than just a player

Over the last few weeks, Steve Kean has put his faith in a young, unproven player. Ahmed Mahmoud has started 6 out of a 7 potential games for the club, despite only being 15. I know what your thinking, Kean's just giving the young lad a runout, the League has already been won, but no. Steve saw something in this boy that no one else could, flair. His style of play is like no over, so exquisite, so diverse, so magical.

In the 6 games played for Ittihad, Mahmoud has gathered 6 goals, 2 assists and 1 PotM. An astonishing record for such a young player. Steve Kean has stated that he WILL be starting Mahmoud in the cup final this Saturday, putting a lot of weight on the young mans shoulders. But if he plays his cards write, he could go down it Ittihad history...
Nice update I hope you finish this one day :P
Yes! The title goes to Ittihad, I was right Lucas, I am psychic :P Great work on the title and Mahmoud looks class.

Also let's honour the title win to Glaydson.

Ittihad do the double!

Yes, you read right! Steve Kean has lead Ittihad to their first double ever by winning the Egyptian cup 2-1, unbelievable Jeff!

Ittihad opened up the scoring after just 3 minutes, the goal coming from young ambitious ST Mahmoud. From the edge of the box he sprinted in past 3 players before later taking it around the keeper and slotting it into the net, 1-0.

In the 45 minute Ismaily equalised through Ali. A cross to the back post connected with him, and he belted it into the goal, 1-1.

It took until the 86th minute to separate them both, a controversial penalty awarded to Ittihad, that was buried by El Shayeb. 2-1. Game over.

Nice Lucas! I mean.. Steve Kean! Great work on the double, and conquering Egypt - now Africa!

And I notice your just Lucas now with no '_C' on the end.
