The opening month for The Scouters couldn't have gone any better as they blasted away all their opponents winning all 4 games scoring 14 goals and conceding just 1.
The opening game in Fratton Park against Dorchester seen an early goal, with England U-21 striker Ziechael placing the ball past the goalkeeper. However, he would not continue for much longer after suffering an injury and would miss the rest of the month. A superb hattrick from powerhouse Ben Dover all but earned The Scouters the 3 points but there was still time for another, as Big "Samba" Boss powered in a header from a corner to round off a fantastic opening performance from Heardman's men.
Salisbury were next to feel the wrath of FMScout United as Ben Dover bagged his fourth goal in 2 games after his low hard shot hit the post and rolled over the line. Bulgarian international TheStyleR also got onto the scoresheet with a long range effort which seemed to change direction twice which was enough to wrong foot the keeper who was powerless to save. A late Nathaniel Mair goal opened his account for the season, and also earned him a call-up to the U-21 set up, just like his fellow two strikers.
The first away game of the season saw the same result, a win for The Scouters. Once again Ben Dovers strenght proved too much for the opposition's defence, as he held of two players and drove his shot low into the corner. Lucas Crosbie also got himself on the scoresheet, finishing a penalty won by Nathaniel Mair. The final goal of the game was scored by Hamoudi Fayad who smartly rounded the keeper and put the ball into the open net to seal a comfortable victory.
Maidenhead were also powerless to stop FMScout United complete their 100% start to the season, slumping to a 3-0 defeat. Nathaniel Mair opened the scoring with a poachers effort only a few yards out. Lucas Crosbie scored his second goal in as many games with another penalty. The scoring was rounded off with a cool finish from TheStyleR who confidently slid the ball past the onrushing keeper from just outside the box.
