Overview Of Pre-Season

Tactics

4-5-1
This formation is for not so good teams, or teams near the bottom of the league which i can take advantage and score lots of goals with

4-3-3
This formation is not as attacking as the 4-5-1, but can offer attacking qualities. It is a mixture between attacking and counter attacking. I will use this against the mid-table sides that are ok but they havnt got as much firepower as the big teams

4-2-3-1 Deep
This formation is very defensive and will be used against the better teams, or the team that has alot of firepower. It offers defensive qualities with the defensive midfielders, but when we get the ball, spread the ball out to the wingers

Capital One Cup Draw 2nd Round

As you can see we play Tranmere away, good draw for us, but anything can happen!

August Review

Game 1

Norwich City 5-1 Arsenal Attendance: 37,126
Scorers: Fer (X2) Redmond (X1) Hooper (X1) Tettey (X1)

Well, what a BRILLIANT game. I decided to go with the 4-5-1 formation, even though Arsenal are a good team they had 1 or 2 injuries so I thought it was worth the risk. The first goal by Fer, came from a free-kick, curled and just went inside the post. The second goal was a tap-in by Redmond after a Hooper shot hit the post. 3rd goal came from a one-two between Wolfswinkel and Redmond, played into the path of Hooper who expertly finished into the bottom corner. Finally, the last goal was a low drive by Tettey into the bottom corner form around 20 yards away. Overall, I was pleased with how we played and the result, roll on to the next game7

Game 2

Everton 0-3 Norwich City Attendance 31,212
Scorers: Ricky van Wolfswinkel (X1) Fer (X2)

Another game, another win. I went with the 4-3-3 formation, Everton are no mugs but I thought if we play our game then we should come away with 1 point. Fortunately, we came away with all three points, we didn't control the game as much as I would have liked when we had the ball we used it to our advantage and took our chances well. Our first goal came from another free-kick this time taken by Wolfswinkel in off the post. Our second gosl came from a corner, nicely played in by Redmond and there was Fer to power the ball past Tim Howard in goal. Lastly, Fer did an audacious chip from just outside of the penalty box which left Howard fallen on the ground. Very happy with the result onwards and upwards now

Game 3

Tranmere Rovers 0-1 Norwich City
Scorer: Ricky van Wolfswinkel

I went with the attacking formation becuase I thought we would power past Tranmere but really it was quite close. Although,we did create loads of chances our strikers just couldnt score. Tranmere even had one cleared of the line before we scored. Our goal was very scruffy, a shot by Wolfswinkel hit the post trickled across the line and smashed it in. It wasnt a brilliant game but it was a win. So I am happy with the win and roll on to the next round

Overview of August

English Premier Division Table

Transfers + Derpartures

Transfers:

Simon Vukcevic - Midfielder Free

Even though he is not THAT young, he adds experience, and overall fits the bill perfectly and is just what i need. Also, I didnt have to pay a single penney

Macnelly Torres - Midfielder Free

Great signing can partner Vukcevic in midfield. Bargain!

Departures:
There wasn't any departures this month, due to I want to give everybody a chance and I thought it is too early to let someone go

Capital One Cup 3RD Round Draw

Once again could have been harder, but im not taking it so easy this time. Especially after only beating Tranmere 0-1
Nice story so far! Try adding a bit more text and it will go very well with your images :)
