Redknapp Resigns!
QPR gaffer Harry Redknapp has resigned from his managerial role at Queens Park Rangers after a supposed boardroom bust-up Sky sources have heard. This news comes just after QPR's relegation from England's top tier in May. Redknapp had one year left on his initial two-and-a-half year contract at the Rs. QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has made no statements apart from the news of Redknapp's resignation so far. All eyes will be on QPR now as they try to get rid of the astronomical wage bill at the club that was brought in for a Premier League survival attempt but ended up relegated by the end of the season alongside Reading and Wigan. Tony Fernandes will now be looking for a replacement for the former Spurs and Southampton man with many big names being shouted around such as controversial Real Madrid manager José Mourinho who is reportedly good friends with Fernandes. Other names such as Diego Maradona and Bert van Marwijk are also in the running for the job at Loftus Road.
