Davids deal falls through

Barnet Football CLub have said that the deal to appoint former Juventus and Barcelona Dutchman Edgar Davids. It's believed that the chairman thought that Davids ambitions were too high and too unrealistic and Davids would need to understand the squad more to look at the ambition that is right for the club.

Due to this, Barnet Football Club can officialy announce that Edgar Davids will not be the clubs new Head Coach. Director of Football Paul Fairclough has told Barnetfc.com that the club are currently evaluating numerous candidates for the job. Mark Robson will not be appointed either!

Barnet FC supporters spokesman has listed a name he would to see fill the vacant spot at Underhill (soon to be the Hive)

It would be great to see this Barnet legend to re-join the club after he was assistant manager last year and just over a year ago he saved us from relegation in 2011. He had a great scoring record for us last decade and I believe his passion for the club would really help motivate the team for a good season.

Barnet appoint Debenham

Barnet Football Club can today announce the unveiling of their new manager. That being young manager Lloyd Debenham. Debenham has got all coaching qualifications as well as a degree in sports science. The club have made a statement telling their fans: "All of the board believe Lloyd can bring success and really help this club develop not only in the league but also the tactical side of our team!"

Debenham has also released a short statement when he left Barnet's training ground,The Hive: "I am extremely delighted to be hired by Tony (the Chairman) and I'm glad he has belief and me and I also have self belief that I can help this club push back towards the top half of the table, but I don't think it will be that simple, but work begins tomorrow!

Barnet announce links with Brighton and Bishop Stortford

Barnet Football CLub are happy to announce links with Blue Square North side Bishop Stortford and Npower Championship side Brighton. The clubs have linked together to gain funds and to make loans much easier for each other.

Debenham has stated that he is happy to announced these links and hope that the money that the club recive will help boost the club and that the link with Bishop Stortford can help them as well. I really hope this helps.

Barnet FC are also linked with Premier Division club Arsenal but nly the fees involved unlike the loan deal in the affiliation.

Thomas and Hackett loaned to Stortford

In addition to the link with Bishop Stortford. Barnet youth players Jamal Hackett and Ismeal Thomas have joined Bishop Stortford on loan until January.

Both have said that they are happy to join Stortford and can not wait to get some more first team football action to develop as players.
