Saving Portsmouth-League 1 to BPL

Welcome to my new and 1st FM story. This story is going to be with Portsmouth FC and my journey to first keep them up and then get them promoted twice!

So Portsmouth are in deep trouble and are currently under a transfer embargo and possibly in the middle of a takeover worth 1 Million pounds (Which would help the club, slightly)

When we get out of administration i'd like to get a Goalie and a goalscorer to bang in the goals (Feel free to leave your suggestions below of who to sign, bearing in mind we only have 8k wage budget and no money)

It gets said a lot but try to make your updates look pretty There are various guides on the site on how to add pictures and layout ideas etc... play around, find what works for you.

Now that is said, I'm interested to see how this goes, i'll be reading

I agree with zie but still, don't overdo it. Some stories can look very nice with little to no pictures, as long as the text is presented well. It depends on how you want to present it. If it's news articles, then lots of graphics is good. If it's a journal, then tone the graphics down.

So far on Portsmouth's journey we learnt about the team now we begin pre-season and play our Capital one cup 1st round fixture against Oxford United.

Pre-Season
Portsmouth 3-0 Portsmouth Reserves- Looked strong throughout the game and deserved the win

Gillingham 4-4 Portsmouth- Jeez, What a game. To be honest if I had to choose a winner it would of been Gillingham. Played some good football in parts

Portsmouth 0-3 Northampton- What happened! We played awful.... Deserved a loss which we got

Fulham 3-0 Portsmouth- We played well... Nearly a full strength Fulham side too. Played quick football which worked well despite result

Silsbury 0-1 Portsmouth- Holidayed

Havant & Waterloville 1-0 Portsmouth- Holidayed

Capital One Cup Tie VS Oxford
Oxford United 0-0 Portsmouth (Portsmouth win 5-3 on pens) Dominated all game but hit woodwork twice and narrowly missed 3 times.

Takeover
We were taken over by a English lad for 1.3 Million. 1 Million on Transfer Budget too!
