I know many people will have already done stories in which they start the game unemployed and work their way up through the leagues and I know some people may find this idea a little boring, but I find it to be the most enjoyable and rewarding experience Football Manager has to offer. I have had so much fun with Football Manager when starting off unemployed and only once have I ever reached the Premier Division, but when I did it was probably my all-time favourite gaming experience.

In this save, I have loaded all six divisions from England to start with and the aim for me is to start off in either the Blue Square North or Blue Square South, and gradually work my way up the leagues until I finally reach the Premier Division. I will be treating this as realistically as possible and will therefore move to bigger and better club's to improve my career. Hopefully people will enjoy this :)
Here's a challenge, start of as Bishop Stortford and take them to the premier league.

I'd find it boring if I stayed at one club for so long, plus I'm not good enough at the game to reach the Premier Division with Bishop's Stortford unfortunately :P

As you can see there are a quite a few clubs without a manager at the start. Unfortunately almost all of these jobs are off-limits, due to my lack of playing experience at a high enough level. The only realistic option in this list is Hayes & Yeading United in the Blue Square South but after looking at their squad I decided not to apply for the job and to wait until a better opportunity presents itself. In the meantime I will provide updates on the biggest news and the league tables until I get myself a job.
SWINDON! TAKE US BACK WHERE WE BELONG!
Try for Luton, Lincoln and Tamworth. They may let you manage them
Good luck :P

Not really sure. Needed a picture and he was the first normal looking one I could find haha! Cheers mate!

Quite a few managers under pressure now. Dover Athletic & Chester would be great clubs to start with. Bolton have started terribly as they usually do in this game and Freedman is in trouble. Will post league tables next.

[spoiler=Welling hire Garry as manager]

Didn't even have a chance to apply for the Welling job as they replaced Jamie Day with Ryan Garry before I had time to blink. Would have been a great club to start with as they have a decent squad for the Blue Square South. Bolton find themselves in the bottom three of the npower Championship and look set for a relegation battle. It's no real surprise though as we are bleeping awful in real life too. Today's 3-0 hammering at Nottingham Forest is a game I just want to forget about... quickly.
