Kevin Keegan was pictured today in Newcastle's training ground Darsley Park putting pen to paper on a 1 year contract.
"Although me and Mike(Ashley) had our problems i have decided to put them behind me and guide the underperforming club back to the way i had them during the 90s"
He seems to be rejuvenated and is up for the task of evolving the toon back into a top european side yet again.
"I will get rid of all players which aren't in my plans although there are a couple of cracking lads at the club who it would be ideal to keep"
Kevin is a somewhat hero at the club after playing 78 games and converting 48 chances also managing the club from 1992-97 and an unsuccessful spell in 2008. Keegan also brung in Alan Shearer to the tyneside club in 1996 and would hope to bring him into the backroom staff...
