As the title suggests Grasshoppers were a title winning side that won the Swiss league nearly every season years ago but it's been over 10 years since their last title. They have fallen. They have struggled. They need Europe once again. They need the league title. They need the fans to support them along the way and they need a manager to take them to their past.



Michael Skibe removed as Grasshoppers head coach
In a shock story, Michael Skibe has been removed as Grasshoppers head coach. Skibe was seen doing illegal gambling in a casino in Basel. It is unknown what he did to make it illegal but the club, Grasshoppers have said "We cant risk it, We don't want some who has broken the law in our football club." The club continued the statement saying, "We will begin looking into a new manager as Michael has agreed to our contract termination and believes it is better for the club that he has left."
The favourite for the job is currently Switzerland's 3rd most capped player Johaan Vogel.

Vogal appointed
The bookies favourite for the Grasshoppers job, Johann Vogel has been appointed as the new Grasshoppers manager. Vogel is the 3rd most capped Switzerland player of all time, his last cap was back in 2009. Vogel played for Grasshoppers in 1992 till 1999 before moving to PSV, in this time he featured 133 times and scored 13 goals. He re-joined the side on a free in 2012 but played just 3 times and soon hung up his boots.
Vogel is already been busy and has been linked with 2 different players after just 3 days in charge.

Poor month for Grasshoppers (September update)
It was a poor month for Grasshoppers as they continued the Super league season. New manager Johann Vogel failed to get a win in the 4 league games in September.
