2013-10-04 23:57#136796 kamachi : Any suggestions on a League One or Two team you'd think would be fun? I'd love to hear why using the criteria Stam mentioned.

I'm headed to London for three weeks in late Mar/early April so if one happens to be in the London area so I can see them play live, all the better!

Go with Crewe Alexandra. They have a excellent youth academy. It's a good challenge to get them promoted, they also have a few good young players like Leitch - Smith, etc

Crystal Palace

  • Promoted to Premier League via Championship playoffs
  • Key Players: Mile Jedinak, Marouane Chamakh, Jimmy Kebe
  • New Signings: Marouane Chamakh, Jimmy Kebe, Dwight Gayle, Jason Puncheon(loan)
  • Difficulty: Veteran-Hard

With arguably the worst squad in the Premier League, Crystal Palace face an uphill battle to save themselves from relegation. With no riches to spend in the transfer market, it will take a lot of work to save this little London club from going down.
Manchester United
---2012-2013 season, Manchester United won the first 13 Premier League titles, won a total of 20 domestic league title, surpassing Liverpool 18 top domestic league championship record.
---Star players: Rooney, Van Persie.
---Ferguson is now retired from the pick David Moyes succession.
---Manchester United:

RB Leipzig
2012/13 league finish: Regionalliga Nordost Germany,1st (promoted to 3. Liga)
Star players:Daniel Frahn(captain)is the star player. He is a 26 years old striker who scored 68 goals in 101 for the club.
Significant new signings:Joshua Kimmich (DM from Stuttgart) and Yussuf Poulsen (SC from Lyngby BK)
Difficulty (Newbies, Experienced, Veteran:RB Leipzig, is supported by energy drink-maker Red Bull who purchased the license of fifth division side SSV Markranstädt with the intention of advancing the re-modeled club to the top-flight Bundesliga within ten years.Stadium: Red Bull Arena (44,345 capacity). In a few words this is a club with a lot of potential.
Monaco could make a good challenge and you need to compete with Lyon, OM and PSG for the title before you think about the Champions League.
