im arsenal in season 3, but at the moment Man City are taking every tournemant by storm, top of the prem league, won all so far in europe, FA, LC, and beat me in the charity shield and european super cup.
now i have an amazing side

i should'nt have lost to City once, but twice after last season being 31 unbeaten in all competitions, that is not right.
but if i look at their signings then i realise they have spent over £100m every year strenghening their side! how is any club supposed to keep up with that, now i evaluated this and decided i needed to match them in this area and so in this window i signed Messi for £45m, Aguero for £32m and Sakho for £15m, but i still got overtaken by Man City who spent £101m
they now in my eyes have a stronger squad than mine,and i could lose my chance of 3 prem and Champ leagues in a row to them.
has anyone else seen that they start destroying after a certain amount of seasons?
if nothing else works....add money to your account.having arabs(or russians=D) as owners in the real life is like cheating....thats my opinion.i remember in fm08 i won with man utd the champions league almost every season but not even after 5 years of dominating the football world with my team i did not have 100 mil euros available for transfer.
I am seeing the exact same thing in the second season. I'm with Man Utd so I'm pretty unhappy about Man City challenging the top 4. Hell, they have alrady gone past Liverpool :dontgetit But with every single game file they always buy the same people like Arshavin, Zhirkov, Srna, Diarra, Hamsik and an old experienced goalkeeper. Every time I play against them I only just manage to get a win. It's pretty sick the way they easily win against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool:con
In FM08 I did get more than 100 mil to spend after winning the Champions League and every other cup 4 years in a row.:p
i think it ruins the game, like i am quite like wenger, always spending on promising youngsters, but because they have litarelly bought a whole new starting 11 and backup team, spending £100m's and having a rediculus wage budget, i have had to spend £92m on worldclass players, which i don't like doing!
i only got a budget of £55m after 2 seasons of prem and champ league victory, and they just get £150m for coming 4th in league?!
Wow! on my game Man City always spend £100m but they pay over the odds for poor players and i'm in my third season and they are always involved in a relagation battle =D
i play 4-th season with Arsenal(won the league twice,once FA cup,one Champions League final and two Liga cup finals)...i top the rich list,and Man City isn't anywhere near me :yes ...yes,it's true that they buy the same players all the time...so far...they don't dominate my game :no

I also always look to sign promising youngster, I just gives me a great feeling knowing that I have the best youth in the world.
Man city are nowhere on my Man Utd game always mid-table and definatley pay over the odds for players. They bought Darren Fletcher off me for £24million and Micheal Carrick for £28million, £52 million all together, fuck me. I agree with fackman. I dont think I've bought anyone over 22 and I'm in my 4th season won the league 3 times champions league twice but cant seem to win the FA cup or League cup. Arsenal have won them everytime.Arseholes.

ive got two games on at the mo and in both games man city are average with a great squad they signed Arshavin, Zhirkov, Srna, Diarra, Hamsik all at the start. i am southampton on one game and jack cork had a great season so they bought him for £5m.
