Breaking News!!

1/22/13 3:19 P.M. BST

Today January 22, 2013 Aston Villa of the English Premier League have decided to finally give Manager Paul Lambert. Villa is currently dead last in the league with 17 total points. Chairman Randy Lerner was quick to announce the new skipper of the club. Lerner and the “new guy” have been in talks about the position since late November when his club was knocked out of the MLS Eastern Conference Finals. At the request of the new manager the press conference will be at 7:30 P.M. BST (2:30 P.M. EST).

9:30 P.M
Chairman Randy Lerner introduced new Manager Mike Korrigan to the journalist and fans. Yes that is right Coach Mike as he likes to be called wanted the press conference to be open to both media and fans. Mike comes here from D.C. United of Major League soccer where he was an assistant coach. From what it looked like he really wants to be involved with the community and this gesture of an open press conference shows that. Good luck Coach Mike you will need it!!

I got the idea for the title from this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KeG_i8CWE8

Press Conference from Villa park.

RL: Good Evening everyone and welcome to Villa Park. I would like to Introduce our new Manager........Mr. Mike Korrigan (In the background as he walks out from the tunnel this is played over the loud speakers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1CFmuWfwFY)

M: Whats going on Villa Park!!!!!!!!!!! This is a dream come true I can not express my gratitude to Mr. Lerner for this opportunity. So does anyone have a question for me?

J: Mr. Korrigan what is your main goal for this season?

M: Well I am looking to get out of the relegation zone and to a respectable level in the league.

J: Who will be your top player during this last half of the 2012/13 season?

M: Easily it is Mr. Benteke who will be our most important player to keep us up.

J: What position is currently your weakest?

M: Well the whole team is good but if I have to pick it would be the Keepers.

J: Are you looking to add in the next transfer window at that position?

M: Well yes! I have a few in mind.

J: Who then?

M: Well I am looking at Ochoa of Ajaccio and Steele of Middlesbrough.

J: Please describe your playing style?

M: Well it is going to be kick ass in your face smash mouth football. Think of this my squad will be in the enemy's faces like killer bees. We don't care if other clubs think we are disrespectful to the game because we will beat them.

J: wow that was a bit interesting.......

M: Yes it was!! Villa will break you!!

J: A bit cocky, Eh?

M: Hell Yeah, As Al Davis said Just Win Baby, Peace out all. Birmingham City Sucks!!

RL: Well thank you all for coming out this late. All fans are welcomed to come and hang with Mike and meet him in a few days for an open house. There will be Pizza and Cookies!

M: Good
AL: How is Birmingham so far?
M: Love it. The people are nice but the weather sucks.
AL: What are your plans for tomorrows match against Sunderland?
M: I will say this in 3 words. SKIN THE KITTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AL: Wow that confident?
M: Oh Hell Yeah man!!
AL: The English Media will eat you up if you keep acting cocky!
M: And your point is??????? Wait Let me say this... You are the crappiest and most repetitive "analyst" on ESPN.
AL:What the????????????
M: Goodbye you are the weakest link!
lol :))
In my first three games before the start of an international break Villa is finally out of the bottom three.

So far there has been no key player because everyone is playing as a team. Next up home against Norwich on 2/26/13!

End of season Interview

6/1/13
Hello this is Art Vandelay for AVTV. Today we will have an intimate interview with Coach Mike about the season and other things.

AV: Hello Mike, how do you feel about the season?

M: Hey Art! It was a crazy ending and I am proud of this club who started dead last when I took over and made it to 13th at the end. Plus only two losses to both Manchester Clubs... At least we only lost 3-0 to both of them combined.

AV: I heard you have a song prepared for us today

M: Yep! It is in the Tune of "Its the end of the world" by R.E.M. Are you ready????

AV: Yes.

M: Its the end of the season as we know it (3x) and I feel fine. Haha

AV: Ah you should enter Eurovision lol

M: Haha

AV: So what should we expect in the offseason?

M: Adding new players and staff and getting ready to have a great season. We will be back in the beginning of next month.

AV: Well then have a good trip back home to America!

M: Thanks and see ya later.

With the new season comes new things. The first major change is that NBC in America now has the premier League licence and will be able to broadcast every game each week. This is a perfect move for The Villans since their manager is from America and the clubs exposure in the states will improve.

First Press Conference of the year
Key:
M:Me
AV: Art Vandelay
J: Other Journalist
NBC: NBC Reporter

M: Hey everyone whats up?

AV: So Michael, are you ready for the season?

M: Yes I feel we are starting to get ready. A few things need to be worked on but we are fine.

AV: Who has been your key signing so far?

M: I can't really say right now but Jores Okore might make huge bang into the league.

J: As of now you are 2-3 in the preseason. Are you worried?

M: Not at all after all it is only preaseaon and I am still looking for the right line up.

NBC: Mike we hear a rumor that you are trying to sell Brad Guzan. Can you please tell us if it is true?

M: Yes I am and I have talked with Brad about it. We are looking for a keeper that can play long term. Last year was a pain having to rotate him and Shay because of match fitness.

NBC: With Eric Lichaj gone and Guzan possibly leaving are you worried that American fans might not support Villa because of no American on the squad?

M: Well if you support a club based on player nationality you are a fucking idiot. I am not here to please America I am here to get Villa back to the top and bring in the best players that will achieve this goal.

AV: Mike there has been talk on the internet about you wanting a change in atmosphere at VP. What is it?

M: I would love the PA to Van Halen's Jump before kickoff!!

NBC: Who will win the league?

M: I am not ready to answer that

AV: Since we know you support Bayern Munich how do you think they will do this season?

M: I hope they win the Bundesliga it makes me sick seeing Dortmund get their third straight.

J: Any last words?

M: Who the fuck are Shakhter Karagandy??

M: Have a good day everyone and later skater!!!
I love that you're changing the image of the club from some rich old people's retirement village feel who the royals and government all support to a brash, anti-establishment, type of feel, kind of like the NFL's Rex Ryan, but more successful on the pitch, I hope.

Oh yeah we are giving the name Villans a new meaning. The motto Prepared means that you need to be prepared to get your ass kicked lol.
