Toulouse FC hire French Legend Marcel Desailly

Marcel Desailly was born Odenke Abbey on 7 September 1968. He is a retired Ghanaian born French footballer and star of the France national football team squad, with whom he won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000. He also enjoyed a distinguished career at club level with several major European clubs.

Desailly - "I am absolutely delighted to be hired, it really is a dream come true"

Journalist - "How involved do you intend to be in the day-to-day running of the club?"

Desailly - "I am going to reshape this club from top to bottom"

Journalist - "While some manager are famous for their hands-on approach, others maintain a more reserved manner with their players. How do you see your management style?"

Desailly - "I want every player to know they can come to me with anything"

Journalist - "It is often said that different managers favour different competitions. Will you be concentrating on primarily getting good results in the Ligue 1?"

Desailly - "Absolutely, that competition is my main focus"

Journalist - "What would you say is your tactical approach to the game?"

Desailly - "Football is about entertainment and that is what I promise the Toulouse FC fans"

Journalist - "What can we expect from you in the transfer market? Are you looking to splash the cash or are you more of a bargain hunter?"

Desailly - "I am only interested in signing the very best players available"

Journalist - "As far as your backroom staff go, will you be bringing in your own people or will the likes of Denis Valour and Remy Loret be staying at the club?"

Desailly - "I am very pleased with the structure at the club and there will be no changes in personnel at present"

Journalist - "On the off-chance that any agents read your comments today, is there a particular area of the squad you are looking to strengthen in the near future?"

Desailly - "Attack"

Journalist - ""Do you already have an idea of which players you like and those that you aren't so happy with?"

Desailly - "I will know who is in my plans once we have finished Pre-season"

Journalist - "Is there one player in your attack you consider to be the star individual?"

Desailly - "There is two actually Eden Ben Basat and Wissan Ben Yedder"

Journalist - "Many people expected Toulouse FC to qualify for continental competition last season. The failure to qualify was something that disappointed a lot of fans, so do you think you'll be able to put that right this year?"

Desailly - "This year, I firmly believe this club will take that next step"

I think you should mix up the press conference and add some different sort of speech but however a great start can't wait for this to get going
