football manager or genie's estimation

I noticed that I had an function "estimation" in the menu fm genie sout. In this estimation menu, I find "football manager" or "genie's".
I understood that the calculation of estimations was not the same between the two but which is more suitable for FM 2013?
For example, if I take Mario Götze, his estimate with "football manager" function tells me that his best position is MOC but "genies's" function his best position is MOD. Which is true?
I am a Argentina coach and I choose my players with FM Scout and the order of the best central defenders changes according to the function that I use.

David an absolute fan of fm scout.

"Football Manager" function probably is based scouts or coaches reports about player best role.
The "Genie Scout" should be based on player effective attributes.
Many times I don't agree with the best role on assistant report, you have to look to his attributes and build your own opinion.
