Good luck :D

BREAKING NEWS

Studio Reporter: We can now confirm Liverpool have taken just over a week in hiring the next manager. After many big names were linked with the vacancy it seems that a very much unknown young manager has been given the reigns at Anfield. The manager is called James RAwlings. We now go live to the press conference of the unveiling of the new manager.

BBC Merseyside: You sit here as the new manager of Liverpool so how do you intend to be involved with the day-to-day running of the club?

Me: Well I feel I want to be heavily involved as any manager does but I will be looking to re-shape the team from top to bottom.

Daily Mirror: And how do you feel your managerial style is?

Me: Well I like to think any player can come to me with any questions or problems they have and we will sort it as and how is acceptable. As everyone know Liverpool is famous for being a club with the atmosphere of a family setting and that's how I want it to stay.

Sporting Life: So many managers state they are going to mainly focus on a certain competition, so what will yours be?

Me: Well I think the league will be our main focus for this year as I really feel we can push for a top four spot. But we will still be battling for the domestic cups as well just as any team would. As a team we want to be targeting all silver ware we can.

Daily Mirror: And what kind of football are you going to want your team playing?

Me: Well I think i'm going to try and continue the style Brendan had started as I feel an attractive attacking style is the way forward with the squad we currently have.

Sky Sports: And what kind of signings are you looking to make? as well as any out goings?

Me: As with any team we will be looking to strengthen the squad and I will be looking to secure some good young talented players but I feel a marquee signing might be on the cards but time will tell. And I think there may well be some outgoings but again it depends if any team makes an offer.

BBC Sport: MAny are suggesting Luis Suarez is looking to quit Anfield this summer with teams such as Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern interested in the Uruguayan. Are you hoping to keep hold of him?

Me: Luis is one of the best players in the world so ofcourse teams will be interested in signing him, but I want to keep him here and he is still under contract here so i'm confident he will remain with the club.

Me: I will now be attending a meeting with the team so will not be answering any more questions.

Daily Mirror: Before you go, as an unknown personality in football surely you must be 'living the dream'?

Me: Haha, yes this is most definitely a dream come true.

Sky sports studio reporter: Okay and that there was the unveiling of Liverpool's new boss. James Rawlings now to see if he has it in him to keep the job and how the transfer window will fare for him as many of the big names want out. We wish him all the best and thanks for watching. Bye.

Sunday 1st July 2012

SSN Studio Reporter: Welcome, today is the first of July 2012 and you all know what that means.. the start of the transfer period, and attracting most of the media attention is none other than Liverpool, after the departure of Rogers and the arrival of a literally unknown manager many of the big names want out. We go live now to Melwood, any news of departures from Anfield?

Live Reporter: Well there is definitely going to be some exits as many players have confirmed they want out mainly due to the treatment of Rogers and some due to the disappointment of the status of their new manager.

Studio Repoter: Okay well do you have any names of any players wanting out or perhaps any going in? As Rawlings spoke about young fresh signings?

Live Reporter: Well many are suggesting 3 or 4 big names want out including Suarez, Johnson and Lucas. But with possible in comings not heard of anything yet with regards to young players, but remember when Rawlings spoke about a 'marquee' signing? well there are several names being thrown about right now, being: Mata, Torres, Benzema and Hamsik. Benzema and Torres are touted as possibilities to replace the outgoing Suarez with Mata being linked due to a falling out with Mourinho..

Studio Repoter: Thank you for that. Well interesting news at Anfield yet again. We will be first to bring you any information of any transfer business surrounding Liverpool and any other clubs right here.

Completed transfers as of day one:
David Alaba to Manchester City for a fee of £26.5m
David Bently to Cardiff on a free transfer
Edna Stevens has joined Leeds on loan

Code needs adjusting...........

Liverpool confirm as many as 8 departures. But confirm 3 new signings.

Studio Reporter: Well we knew movement was happening but this was fast as we can reveal that at least 3 key players have left. Those being:
Glen Johnson who has left for a fee of £20m favouring a move to Monaco where fellow team mate Lucas Levia will be joining him for a fee believed to be around £23m. The othe big departure comes in the form of Skrtel who has joined Napoli for £17.5m. We also have seen suggestions that Allen and Coates could also be leaving shortly. WE can also confirm Assaidi and Pacheco have left the club on loan deals.

However its not all dome and gloom at Liverpool as they have confirmed 3 exciting young signings today. Mamadou Sakho has joined the club from PSG for a fee around the £10m mark, Tiago Llori has joined the side for £6m from Lisbon. And the last signing is the young Spaniard Moi Gomez who arrived for a fee of £3m which may rise due to clauses. The Reds Boss had this to say:

"I understand that many fans and even players were angered at my appointment which can be clearly seen through the departures, I would loved to of kept them at the club but they wanted to leave. But with the funds generated from the sales we have signed some very good young players, especially in Mamadou which is a big signing for us. And I'm sure there will be more good news for the fans soon."

Studio Reporter: Well that's an interesting statement from Rawlings, and what is that news set to excite the fans? Well we'll be sure to let you know as we hear more.

Lucas leaves for the lust of Monaco:

Big News!
Liverpool set to unveil the first signing made under Rawlings. Although they recently unveiled 3 new signings all were made under Rogers.

Studio Reporter: Sky sports news understands the new Liverpool manager Rawlings has made his first foray into the transfer market having agreed to sign Franco Jara from Portuguese side SLB for a fee of around £4m, we also understand that Liverpool have had a bid accepted for young Uruguayan midfielder Nicolas Lodiero, and that they had a bid of £13m accepted by Athletico Madrid for their young star Koke but he rejected the move to the merseyside stating he wants to prove himself in Spain. Still no more information of that marquee signing yet as I'm not sure that Jara or Lodiero are the news that is set to excite the Liverpool fans. As we go live to a small conference being held, at Liverpool for the manager to show himself of to the fans for them to get to know him better.

Me: Hello all and welcome, I'd like to take this moment to thank all the fans who have made me feel welcome at the club and I hope to bring them and the club all the success we deserve.

Reporter: well that was a different approach for starting the interview... Anyway you said you wanted to say thanks for being made to feel welcome by then fans, yet many were extremely frustrated and disappointed by your appointment some suggesting you will be fighting for relegation how is that welcoming?

Me; There may have been comments made like that but I'm not going to dwell on them many fans have belief in me and I'm sure it will pay off. And as for us battling for relegation we have a strong fantastic squad so relegation to me is not a concern.

Reporter: Okay well fair enough. Any more news on that marquee signing you had promised the fans? and is anything more going on with Suarez who is being touted to leave the club?

Me: Well like I mentioned the other day the staff here are working extremely hard in this busy period so hopefully we will have some excited fans soon. And as I said before Suarez is a Liverpool player and will stay that way.

Reporter: After failing to land Koke, are you worried that top players will not be wanting a move to your side?

Me: Not at all we have signed some promising players that i'm happy with, big names aren't always the best buy but like I said we are working on things.

*Ayre enters the room*

Ayre: James, you will have to cut the preference short you are needed for urgent business...

Me: Okay, I will be there now. Thanks for your time and sorry for having to leave so soon thanks for attending and Goodbye.

Studio Reporter: Well we don't see that everyday, that must mean something big is developing but what stay tuned to find out more as Sky sports believes a big name will be signing for Liverpool in the next 24 hours.

Liverpool's newest arrivals:

Jumping the sinking ship!

Liverpool's Luis Suarez has handed in a written transfer request as he wants a move to a bigger club. Suarez is the latest of the big stars to look set to leave Anfield and has said he feels he's gone as far as he can with the club and its now time to leave the sinking ship that was once great.
And just hours after the request was submitted Barcelona have submitted a bid of £45.5m which we can confirm has been excepted!

So it's looking extremely likely that Liverpool are about to lose another top class player and their best player at that.

Now on the matter of the Marquee signing we are not sure of the name of the player in talks yet but we can confirm he is from Chelsea. And we have a right to believe its one of the Spaniards, So it may be Torres who they have been linked with ever since he left who may not be wanted after Chelsea signed Eto'o and Lewendowski, or Mata who is not part of Mourinho's plans this year despite being the best player for the last 2 seasons.

Is Torres on his way back to the merseysiders where he set the league a light just a few seasons ago?

http://s1293.photobucket.com/user/JimmerDawg/media/Fm%2013/fernando-torres_1542266c_zps4f9abd8a.jpg.html
Bringing Torres back could be great for the fans and he also could start scoring lot of goals. Good luck at negotiating with Roman!
Interesting... I'll be watching this.

Suarez leaves as Liverpool start to look increasingly thin.

SSN Reporter:We can confirm that Suarez has left Liverpool to join Spanish giants Barcelona for a fee of £45.6m, this is leaving Liverpool very short in the striker department. As they now only have Aspas a new signing who may take time to settle into the league and Sturridge has has been on top form for them since signing in January and his form has continued throughout pre-season.

A statement was released by Liverpool Manager earlier this morning.

" I can confirm that Luis Suarez has left the club after submitting a written transfer request. He will be leaving to Spain to play for Barcelona. We wish him all the best at his new club and thank him for his services since joining us." James Rawlings

Bye Bye Suarez.

A big arrival at Anfield.
SSN Reporter: Sky sports news can confirm that Liverpool have signed Spanish play maker Juan Mata from division rivals Chelsea, after many were expecting Torres to return but we understand there was a differences in valuations leading Liverpool to make an audacious bid for Mata. and we believe the fee is around the £30m mark. So although fans may be upset of the departure of the infamous Suarez I'm sure they will be delighted with the signing of Mata.

Liverpools biggest signing of the window so far.

Liverpool announce two more signings in the from of Davide Florida for a fee of £1.7m however we can confirm this signing was made by Borrell not Rawlings. But Rawlings did sanction the signing of Will Hughes from Derby for a fee of £5.75m and we understand Hughes has joined Aston Villa on loan for a season to get more game time.

2 more deals finalized as Arsenal complete the signing of Nevan Subotic for a fee of £9m, whilst Everton confirm the loan of Javi Garci from Manchester City.

SSN Reporter:Only one more hour left for clubs in Britain to make any more deals with a few big moves possibly waiting to go through:

1. Torres to Liverpool with the odds of 9/2 for a deal
2. Baines to Utd at 3/1
3. Di Maria to Chelsea 2/1 or Arsenal at 4/1
So will any of these happen we will have to wait and see.

SSN Reporter:30 minutes left to go and we can confirm Liverpool have made a bid for Fernando Torres! More info shortly.

Liverpool have sensationly made a bid of £15m for unwanted Chelsea star Fernando Torres but we can confirm it has been turned down as it was not deemed as enough money. We are also in the understanding that there will not be an improved offer made so it looks like El nino will be staying in London for now.
