I was wondering could someone help me with youth intake. I am Mansfield in 2024 with a continental reputation with:
  • Top Youth facilities
  • Youth category 1
  • Excellent Junior coaching
  • Average youth recruitment

And also when I go to improve my Youth facilities and youth level it says I already have the highest.

So how come year after year, all my graduates are 0.5 potential. It has been bothering me for a while now, there must be a reason because I've invested so much money into it and got nothing. Thanks in advance:)
Your youth recruitment is average there is your answer :D

Yeah but surely I should be getting higher than just 0.5 guys every season??:) What are the genuine factors for producing a good intake?? Like do Youth facilities or your head of youth development play much of a part?
The HoYD affects the youth intake, yes, but with an an average youth recruitment it's unlikely you'll get Premier League level youth players.
Also, if I'm not wrong, the area your team is in also matters. So, if you are sharing a town or city with a team that has "Excellent Youth Recruitment", most of the Premier League quality players will go to their academies, rather than yours.
Thanks :) Sounds like youth recruitment network is the main thing to improve. It takes ages after asking them to be able to request even more investment though, my only options at the moment are to cut back :(
Yes youth recruitment is the major factor for getting higher potential youth intakes, make sure you ask the board to upgrade this whenever the option is available.
