April-May: The Season Gone

With a slight blip in the middle of the month with losses to Halvese and Kiel - it was a relatively good couple of months as we breezed past lowly opposition in the form of Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen's Reserve Teams. The Werder Bremen result in particular was outstanding - Haris Huseni and Sebastian Jakubiak combining excellently. We also got two more much needed wins versus bottom side SC Victoria and the side I turned down Orberneuland to round off our month.

League Table

The season is done! We find ourselves in a respectable position of fourth and hopefully we can build on this next season. With the right signings, I can see us making a run for the title. We were only a win off of second place so I know we are doing the right things. The form of Samide, Vallianos, Steinwarth and Jakubiak really pleased me, too. These player's contracts will definitely be extended.

That is a pretty good finish for the season. What are the plans for next season?

Alex Thanks. With so many points dropped I think I know where we need to improve. Maybe I will work on their stamina/fitness training in greater depth.

James Thanks The plans are probably to gradually build a squad worthy of promotion. I am going to patch up the areas which need more depth or improving. I don't want to get promoted before we are ready for the 3. Liga.
