I use to play for lower teams, mainly MSK Zilina (Slovak 1st league), so I can't really buy and sell too expensively, but... One season I bought Gabriel Torje for 2 million € (had the money from previous very succesfull season) in summer. A few months later I sold him for 4 million € to Liége I think. Now that's business. Double the money in less than 6 months!

GOD DAMN!! theres alot of money being thrown around. TBH when it comes to bringing in players, im always looking for the cheapest buy i can no matter how much money I have (yes Im an Arsenal fan). Buy low sell high. In 09 the most expensive ive bought is Giovani Dos santos at 21.5mill and that was coz it was tottenham i was paying. In 08 i spent 44 mill on David Silva, but that was out of need of a world class winger.

I remember in the good CM4 days being offered 100 mill for Viera from newcastle of all people

Biggest profit would be selling Eduardo to Inter for 20 mill after coming back and playing 3 games after his broken leg. 13 mill profit from that business

While I was Swansea on FM08 i bought Mika Aaritalo, a Finnish attacker, for 500k (August 07). By January 08 I sold him to Portsmouth for 10.75m!
