Thanks for reading. Me and my friends like to have FM-days where we come together (LAN) and play a whole season in one day. It's hard to complete it, so this time we want to customize our concept.
We would like to create our own league with 10 teams (7 human, 3 AI) and play 18 games. Maybe with a cup, but I think the first part is already hard enough to create. We all want to play our favorite team, so it's a mix of the best in the world.
I downloaded the Marshall Transfer Update and started the Editor. I added a league in Poland, made it the highest league and created 10 new clubs (club 1 till club 10). Then I swapped them with the teams we want (Barcelona, Real, ...). But, it doesn't work. When i start FM, my league isn't visible in Poland. My update is there (I also changed to name of the country in 'FM'), but it keeps the Polish league.
I think the problem is that my league is 10 teams and not 16, like Poland has. A forum told me to change the nation rules, but that's not possible in the Marshall Transfer Update ... I only can edit England there (strange).
Can anybody (please) help me? Or give me a plan step by step how to do this? I can edit the country, create the league, put it in the country, get my teams in that league, but don't seem to be able to get a league of only 10 teams running in a country that normally has more teams.
An extra question: how can I prevent our teams from playing in Europe (Champions League) since this will yet again slow our game down. Can I change them in the Champions League teams, or will this yet again error because of their finish last year in their own league?
