2013-04-10 06:12#91251 Caelis : what happened to Romelu Lukaku

So Romelu Lukaku is now 22. After his loan spell with West Brom, he went on loan to Newcastle for the season after, and this year was on loan at Schalke.
Is he any good in your game?
Congrats on winning the CWC and as usual, your stories keep me on the edge of my seat! If it isn't too much to ask, could you post a screenie of Insigne? I've never really given him a try on FM and I would love to see how he has developed for you. Thank you for such a wonderful read. :)
Here are screenshots for both Romelu Lukaku & Lorenzo Insigne

You got Thiago, Munain and Son Heung-Min all on free transfers? Thats amazing lol. I think though you need to look at your defence. That needs improving. Have you still got ake and chalobah?
You've kept Chelsea in a very strong position and congrats on winning the CL :) I'm looking forward to more of this :)
Great work mate winning the Champions League 4 times! Getting those players on a free is epic work haha all quality

Yep all on free transfers, plus loads of others in the past few years. To mention the main ones: Fernando Llorente - later sold for 12Million, Lorenzo Insigne, Rafinha & Paul Pogba. I try and keep them but some do not like rotation and Llorente lost his place to Lewandowski really and asked to be transferred so I made some money off of him. Insigne has just done the same so I'm organising a transfer right now to tell you the truth for about the same money. Same goes with the new ones, I'll try and rotate them but if they're not happy, it's easy to sell them for a good profit. So basically any world class player on a free is good business, whether they fit in to your system or whether they are sold within a year.

So defencewise I'm OK too... i do need another Rightback but Ramires & Victor Moses played really well when I had an injury crisis.

Leftbacks : David Alaba, Ryan Bertrand, Luke Shaw, Patrick Van Aanholt
Rightbacks : Cesar Azpilicueta, Branislav Ivanovic
Central Defence : David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Kryiakos Papadopoulos, Jeffrey Bruma, John Terry, Tomas Kalas. Got loads of others out on loan too like Nathaniel Chalobah and some other young ones that I bought.

Cheers mate, it's all about having a good transfer shortlist, the rest is up to luck and maybe a little endorsement :)

I must correct you though, yes we have won four Champions League's in a row!! Yes thats right, still can't believe it myself - Di Matteo won the first one though don't forget, so I have won the other three. Not that winning the Champions League is not enough, but I do really want to win a Premier League now this year or next for sure.
