Oh deer a Chelsea fan.
HAHA Wells Abramobvic is a sacking machine so I bet a fiver Mourinho will be sacked within a year.
Will be interesting if Di Matteo can prove Abramovic wrong and get another Champs League as well as bossing it domestically.

Roberto Di Matteo’s First Press Conference

I walked into the press conference of the brand new Juventus Stadium and it was time for me to meet the Italian Press.

Q: Hi Roberto, How do you feel about becoming the new Juventus manager?
RDM: Well its an honour to be hired at such a great club and I want to be part of this clubs history.

Q: Are you upset after being sacked from Chelsea after winning the double?
RDM: Well I really enjoyed my time at Chelsea so I have no hard feelings towards them but I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Q: What are you planning to do at Juventus?
RDM: Well I want to make this club a European powerhouse. I have a great squad already so If I add quality players then I will be able to succeed at the club. Let’s not forget we are still unbeaten in the league.

Q: What type of players will you be trying to sign this summer?
RDM: I think the squad needs a few new players just to liven it up. We have a lot of strikers but I believe we need a top class player that can develop well. Also I feel we need a new LB and a back-up right back. Gianluigi Buffon is also aging to I may sign a young keeper that can eventually replace the legend himself.

Q: Do you believe you can succeed here at Juventus?
RDM. Yes.

Q: Where to you believe the strongest position is in the squad?.
RDM: Well people think the defence is good and it is but the midfield is just quality. We have Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal and Pogba. The list goes on but I want to make the most of it and build a great team around the midfield.

Yes I will try to prove him wrong and I want to make Juve a great team again.

Juventus Sign Jovetic

Juventus have completed the signing of Stevan Jovetic from Fiorientina for a fee of £22M. The talented striker was being chased by Europes biggest clubs but chose to join Roberto Di Matteo’s project at Juventus.

Stevan Jovetic met press outside of the Juventus Stadium and had this to say:
“I am delighted to be a Juventus player and to sign for a big club means so much to me. I was linked with lots of big club but when the boss called me and asked me to sign I could not say no to him. I am sad to leave my former club but I hope a can be a success at Juventus and win lots of trophies for years to come”.

Jovetic was expected to sign for either Arsenal or Chelsea but instead chose to stay in Italy to join Juventus.

Thanks mate.

Di Matteo’s first training session

I pulled up at the training ground which is called Juventus center for the first time and as soon as I entered I was hit with the history of the club that was all around me with pictures on the walls of past and present players that have represented the club.

I headed into my new office that was painted black and white and I sat down in my new chair. As I turned around I could see the players already warming up and training didn’t start for 30 minutes. I was pleased as I could see the enthusiasm in the team and that they wanted to succeed.
After half an hour I headed onto the pitch. Last time at Chelsea I had some big egos to deal with but this time I had some even bigger egos. I took my first glance at the squad and I was took off my feet by how good it was. There were players like Buffon, Pirlo, Marchisio and a world class player in Bendtner. Of course my new signing Jovetic was there and he looked ready to train. I then told them to split into 4 groups. Goalkeeper, Defence, Midfield and attack. I then took them onto the pitch and asked them to stand in their favourite position and their best position so I could work out where they wanted to play.

After a good 2 hours on the pitch I let the lads go home early but I noticed 2 legends still out there. Buffon and Pirlo were still training and trying to get even better. I couldn’t believe it I mean Buffon is 34 and Pirlo is 33. They then went into the gym to do more work to try and extend their career. I was very impressed.

Juventus Chasing Lewandowski

Earlier today Robert Lewandowski was transfer listed by Dortmund for breaching rules in his contract. The German club want to sell him on quickly and with many clubs watching him like Barcelona, Juventus and Chelsea his signature will be highly valuable.

Dortmund apparently want around £30M for their main man and rumours are that Roberto Di Matteo is looking at the Polish star,
“I like the guy. He’s good in the air and he has a great shot on him. I can’t say if we will make an offer but if we do it will go tough to warn off the other clubs”.

A Meeting with the Board

I drove to the Juventus Stadium to meet with the board about the future of the club. As I pulled up I saw Gianluigi Buffon waiting for me.

“What are you doing here” I asked.
“I am here for the meeting. Whenever there is a board meeting the Captin has to go along and take part and give ideas and views about the club”.
“Oh right” I replied.
I then followed the legend into the boardroom and I was greeted with smiles. I sat down to see the Owner, Director of Football and the Directors of the club.

Owner: “First of all welcome to Juventus and we all wish you a long and successful stay at this great club”.

RDM: “Thank you. It is an honour to be in charge of this great club”.

DOF: “Right then let’s look at ways we can improve the club on the footballing side of things. We are handing you around £30M to use at your disposal but that does not include the signing of Stevan Jovetic as that was a signing the club needed. We want you to sign either big names or stars of the future”.

RDM: “That is fine. I am looking at Lewandowski and Mulumbu for the first team but I have my eye on 2 youngsters also”.

Owner: “If you promise me Lewandowski will lead the club forward I will give you the money to buy him but you must get rid of a few strikers first”.

RDM: “I am already looking to loan out a few strikers so we don’t have too many but I won’t let them sign for a team in this division so we won’t have to face them”.

DOF: “Great idea I will go now and try to find players a new home for the season”.

Owner: “I hired you because I believed you were the best young manager around and I want you to stay with the club for a very long time”.

RDM: “Thank you. I promise I will be loyal to the club”.

I then headed back to the training ground to make some enquiries about some new players.
Wow I really like your updates as they are in depth, entertaining and include images! Well done sir keep it up!!

Juventus Sign Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski has signed for Juventus for a fee believed to be £29M. The polish striker will surely lead the line for Roberto Di Matteo next season and he will be a great signing for the club. The press then got time to ask questions so the Juventus boss and the new signing.

We asked Robert on why he turned down Barcelona for Juventus and he replied with; “I wanted to make the most of my career and I believe I can get more playing time and I want to win trophies with Juventus”.

We then asked Di Matteo if there would be any more signing; “There will be a few more but they won’t be any big names coming in but I want to sign young stars now that can develop into world class players.
