The King Returns Home: Goodbye and Hello

Guys, I've been wanting to do this for a long time but I'm finally doing it. I will be stopping my Thierry Henry story as I feel its gone on for too long and I haven't put in enough effort ( from the beginning. A huge thank you to everyone who followed this story and constantly supported me!

I will be starting a new story soon..

I think you made the right choice Seni. I must admit I've been following your story less and less but I will definitely read the next story because I really enjoyed it when I started to read this one.

Since the last time I updated this story I've finished the season so I will give you guys a brief summary

Arsenal 2017/2018 season

This was a season to forget...we only managed to win one trophy which was the capital one cup. We are still trying to rebuild the squad and get rid of fringe players. The squad is the weakest its ever been and we must definitely act immediately to rectify this horrible season. The board believe that since it's my first season back its not my fault for such a poor season as AVB left me in a difficult situation.

They want me to stay at the club forever. I love this clubs to bits.

We won the capital one cup and we were runners up in the premier league and the FA cup losing out to Swansea City and Manchester City.

Next season we hope to be stronger as we try to bring in more experienced players to help out.

Player of the season

The player of the season was undoubtedly PHIL JONES. He had an amazing season at the club and is truly turning into a very fine player. He's a very strong young man, hard working, skillful and determined. He reminds me a bit of Pattrick Viera.

Veteran midfielder Cesc Fabregas has finally made the move millions of fans have been waiting for. He has finally moved back to Arsenal at the age of 31 after leaving at the age of 24. Reports tell us that Cesc and Henry had been in contact for a long while and Cesc finally gave in and told Henry he want to just come home.

Before he left to join Barcelona Cesc joined Arsenal's youth academy in 2003 and broke into the first team at the age of 15 years old, such a young age. From then he became a regular and eventually became captain of the North London side. Fabregas is well known by the Arsenal fans who desperately didn't want him to leave in the first place. He made 212 appearances for Arsenal scoring 35 goals. His vision and movement is very good although he is older now so he may not have as much skill but he has experience.

Henry will be delighted to have gotten Fabregas despite his age and reports tell us he even wants to make him a coach at the club once he retires. Fabregas always looked up to Henry when he was a teenager and a young adult. Even while he was at Barca he would publicly praise Henry's work at Arsenal. It was like he was secretly begging to be bought.

A good buy for the fans.

I've been trying to sign him for a while, finally managed to get him

Thierry Henry once again has shocked the world and millions of Arsenal fans with his latest signing. Arsenal FC have signed Robin Van Persie from Manchester United for a fee of 500,000 k. The dutch striker is now 34 years old but still has it in him. Many Arsenal fans loved Van Persie for years, that was until he "betrayed them".

Before now Robin Van Persie was an Arsenal player for 8 years. In those 8 years he had various injury problems and many insisted he should be released, that didn't happen. Arsenal helped him through some personal problems he was having and his physical problems. In those 8 years he didn't play one full season, till his last. In his last season Robin Van Persie was simply unstoppable, he was scoring goals for fun and managed to pick up 30 goals in one season and was one off breaking Alan Shearer's record. He helped Arsenal from 17th to 4th, and for the 17th year Arsenal finished above Tottenham. Then it happened. Van Persie only had one year left on his contract and refused to accept Arsenal's offers. Man United became alert and made a bid around 30 m for the striker. Arsenal had no other choice, it was get 30 million or possibly let him walk out for free. Van Persie became a United a player, much to the disgust of Arsenal fans. From that point on-wards he has been hated by Arsenal fans, but surely that will have to change now he has signed for Arsenal again.



Van Persie made a total of 194 appearances for Arsenal scoring 96 goals. Whereas for United he made 190 appearances scoring 94 goals. He is definitely a clinical finisher.

Reports tell us that Van Persie was unhappy at United as he was constantly left out of the match squads and couldn't even make the bench despite being captain. He felt disrespected. Henry realized this and signed him for a very cheap fee.

RVP is still quality, and it's good to see this story up and running again.
