Crystal Palace launch NEW YouTube Channel

http://i41.tinypic.com/33pd9vd.png

Crystal Palace have confirmed that they have entered the world of social meadia by creating themselves a YouTube channel. The creation of the account will help keep fans up-to-date with the latest interviews and training ground pranks. The YouTube Channel, which is under the name 'EaglesTV' has been created by the Palace hierarchy in bid to bring fans closer to the club.

Palace Chairman stated that there the channel would include prank videos, interviews with both players, coaching staff as well as the manager and chairman himself, video dairies and general training videos.

Palace aren't the first to join YouTube. Other famous clubs, such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Fulham, to name a few are clubs that have used the social media site to interact with fans.
I'll admit, I tried pressing play :P

Gus Poyet: YouTube Interview

http://i42.tinypic.com/2lvfm6r.png

Hey, Gus. Firstly, I would just like to say thank you for joining us in our first official YouTube video. I'd also like to touch on your time at the club - what've you made of it so far?
Thank you, thank you for having me. It's great, y'know being able to interact with the fans. I have spoken to quite a few on the streets and they are great. The club has such great support. I've loved every minute here. From the Chairman, down to the players, the fans and the tea ladies. Everyone has been great in welcoming me to the club ...Especially when you consider my, er... my background. Coming to a rival is always hard, but it has been great. I hope it continues for a long time.

What's it been like, seeing familiar faces, such as Glenn Murray's in the dressing room? Also, what's the general atmosphere around the changing room on a match day?
I must admit, it was er, strange. Very strange at first. But, it's good. I've been able to gel with the player well. They are all a great bunch of lads and they've given me some fantastic support. We're all like one big happy family. You have players such as Glenn and obviously new comer Jelle [Vossen] who are great. They like to have a joke and prank around with the lads. There's always a lot of er, banter before a match. But overall, we know that we have a strong squad. All the players are happy and we know that we might be underdogs for most matches but it doesn't put us off. We feel that we can beat anyone and we can.

You've also recently signed a new contract, what's it like, knowing that the Chairman trusts you with your position?
It's great. It was very unexpected. I had heard that Julian [Speroni] had mentioned something publicly about being rewarded a new contract. I don't know if this is what, er, what caused Steve to give me one or not, but I am very honored. I've only been here a short while and it's a great feeling knowing that I have the backing of the board and that I have been trusted with an extension.

Let's move away from you know, in a managerial role. Let's learn more about you. If, Gus, you were to have a super power, what would it be?
A super power? That's tricky... I've always like the idea of being able to fly, but i've always fancied invisibility, or maybe even being able to er, change back the time... I could have them both together, no?

What would you do with these two combined super powers?
Er, I do not know if I can say...
See who done the poo? *Interviewer laughs*

Well, thanks again, Gus for allowing us to interview you. Hopefully we'll see you again soon.
Not a problem, thank's for having me.
Unique update! Well done :)
nice update NICK/nick :P

Premier League Table and February awards
Not doing so well this month. At least you're 9th in the table! Keep it up! :)
9th in the league is respectable. Southampton are stalling big time!
Not the best month but picking up 4 points is crucial. Definitely going to be an improved season next year I can see it already! Nice touch with the youtube update!

Alexander Milosevic: YouTube Interview

http://i43.tinypic.com/289gaj8.png

Hey, Alex. Thank's for sitting down and joining us. It's great that you've been able to join us
No problem. I'm glad to be here

Right, well, first things first. Congratulations on winning the Young Player of the Month award. What a crazy month. First Crystal Palace player to win this award, and any award in the first season back in the Premier League. What's it like?
I know, it's crazy. I'm very honoured to have received the award. There are some other great youngsters in this league and it's great to have been chosen. I've only been hear since January but I already feel part of the furniture. But yes, it's an honour. Hopefully there will be many more and er, many more for Crystal Palace too.

What's it been like so far? You been here for a couple of months now, how well have you adapted?
It was hard at first. I'm young, so obviously it is quite hard to adapt at such a young age. I was missing my family, but the fans, manager and players have welcomed me well and I feel very appreciated.

One final question before we finish up ...What are your worst habits?
That is a tricky one. I have quite a few... I'm quite an untidy person, but I do try my best. I also spend quite a long time in the mirror trying to perfect my hair. But yes, I would have to say that it is my messiness.

Thanks again, for allowing us to interview you, Alex.
My pleasure
Great update!

Gac Logistics will NOT sponsor Palace in the upcoming season!

http://i40.tinypic.com/awrgxd.png

GAC OFF: It has been confirmed today that GAC Logistics will no longer sponsor Crystal Palace in their upcoming season. After the recent announcement that Kappa would overtake AVEC as the new shirt manufacturers in October, there were whispers that GAC Logistics time would also be coming to an end.

GAC Logistics is the freight forwarding arm of GAC (Gulf Agency Company), which is headquartered in Dubai. GAC Logistics serves the worldwide needs of manufacturers, distributors and retailers with particular emphasis on the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), textiles, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, electronics, entertainment and oil & gas sectors.

GAC Logistics has sponsored Palace for 7 years, with the Company first partnering up with the Eagles in 2007. The sponsorship was set to end at the end of the season, however it was widely assumed that Palace, along with GAC Logistics would agree an extension which would see them earn around £5 million per annum.

It is now believed that Chairman Steve Parish is in talks with several companies which could take over from GAC Logistics as the new kit sponorship, with sources inside the club claiming that Steve Parish is looking to companies over the other side of the Atlantic to increase their popularity in America.
I don't like GAC because I couldn't find their logo without a background when I needed it for a kit on Smart Shirt Designer :))
