No Rest for the Wicked

http://i40.tinypic.com/2mwzac1.png

The season may have just come to a close, however that hasn't stopped owners, chairmen and even managers doing over-time. While the players are currently off on holiday, no doubt basking in the heat of Barbados or L.A, some are still working.

Liverpool owner, John W.Henry has decided to delay his holiday in order to sort out a new manager. Liverpool have had a poor couple of seasons which have seen them fall from grace. After a great end to the 2008/2009 season, Liverpool have sadly, never been the same. From finishing second in the premier league, to falling down to seventh, Liverpool have had a hard ride.

It was believed after Kenny Daglish's time at the club, spending ridiculous and obscene amounts of money on players, they would finally find stability under manager Brendan Rodgers. He has, however, subsequently been fired.

After making a good start to the new season, he, along with Liverpool slowly slipped further and further down the table. Liverpool have ended the season in seventh - again. Many believed that Rodgers would be the man to bring back the glory to Liverpool, after having such a promising season with Swansea in the Premier League. He has failed to adapt to his surroundings, and was seen on the 29th of May, 2013 with his head held low, with what looked like a P45 in his hand.

It wasn't long however - roughly three hours after Brendan had been fired, that the new manager had been appointed. Liverpool will now look to Ex-Athletico Bilbao manager, Marcelo Bielsa to lead the club back to glory.

Millwall will also be hoping to leap-frog up the table after chairman John Berylson has stepped down. The club has been taken over by local buissness man Graham Taylor, who has stated that he is glad to have taken-over his boyhood club.

Finally, manager Gus Poyet has also been handing out P45s. It is believed that the manager is revamping his staffing system, after deciding that they weren't good enough for the Premier League. Towards the end of last season, Gus had already hired Martin Hunter from Southampton to help improve his coaching staff, while scouts Paul Montgomery and Michael Piwowawski were brought in to help look for more young talent.

This evening, Sky Sports have confirmed that assistant manager Keith Millen has left the club, after his contract was terminanted. Fitness coach Scott Guyett is another who has been shown the door. Guyett had worked at the club since 2010. Both have already been replaced, with Paul Winsper signing a contract to be a fitness coach at the club, while Bertschin, who was working at Hull has also joined the backroom staff of Crystal Palace. Hull will be receive a compensation of around £190,000. Finally, Terry McDermmot has joined Crystal Palace from Birmingham City to take over as Gus' right hand man.
Well done :) look forward to next season

Crystal Palace announce new shirt sponsor

http://i43.tinypic.com/2zoj7ug.jpg

Crystal Palace have finally announced their new sponorship. After cutting ties with GAC Logistics, who had sponsored Palace several years, sources inside the club claimed that Steve Parish was looking for a sponsorship abroad, preferably in America in order to increase their fan-base in other countries.

Today it has been announced that they will be partnering up with American based corporation Cisco Systems (Cisco for short.) Crystal Palace have signed a four year deal with the company, which will see them earn around £5,000,000 per annum, a significant boost than their previous deal with GAC Logistics. Cisco Systems, Inc. are an American multinational corporation headquartered in San Jose, California, that designs, manufactures, and sells networking equipment

Parish also went on to announce that the new shirts will be relieved soon. He claimed that the reason why the shirts have yet to be announced is down to looking for a new sponsor.

OFFICIAL: Crystal Palace announce new kits.

http://i41.tinypic.com/2utmemb.png

Palace fans have been anxiously waiting for the arrival of the new kits, to see how they compare with the old designs. New kit manufacturers, Kappa, have often played it safe with their kits, using boring and bog-standard templates. However, Palace fans may be in for a treat.

The new home kit sports the classic red and blue split design, with a yellow trim around the arms and hem of the shirt, while also sporting a rather unusual darker pattern around the edges. Kappa have also included stripes on either arm, both lighter than each arm in order to help it stand out. The kit is complete with a classic yellow collar and new sponorship 'CISCO.'

The away kit also keeps in touch with the classic yellow and blue design, which also seen on last years away kit. The shirt sports a bright yellow body, with a blue trim around the edges and the arms. Thick, white hoops have also been included around the arms, while the use of a white collar has come into play.

The shirts have been retailed at around £40, which includes a full kit will retail at around £50 - £65. This will include a replica shirt, shorts and socks. Buy your official kit Here
What a beautiful look, bring you luck.
