Milan Complete Hernandez Signing
Javier Hernandez has completed his move to
AC Milan from Manchester United. The Mexican striker joins Milan for a fee of
£20.5M. This was seen as a shock move from both clubs as Milan seemed to be comfortable upfront and Hernandez was seen to be a big part of United’s future. The striker signs a 5 year deal and will be presented to the fans later this evening. Manager Paolo Maldini spoke very highly of the ‘Little Pea’ and he said that he has big plans for the Mexican.
“Javier is a wonderful player. He has a lot of qualities as a striker. He is different to Balotelli, he likes to receive balls and bring others into play but Javier likes to run around and get on the end of crosses. He is proven in the Premier League so hopefully he can settle well in Italy”.
“He is a big part of the clubs future”, added Maldini.
“He is only 24 so he still has a long way to go and he can still develop a lot. I like to sign young players and Hernandez fits the bill well here. We are looking forward to seeing Javier in a AC Milan kit very soon”.
Many fans are happy with the deal and it shows that the club is prepared to spend big to keep up with Juventus and try to claim their Serie A title back from their bitter rivals.
