Zinedine Zidane: As I said before, I'll be willing to pay £100,000 per week.
Thomas Maxime: And as my client said, £120,000 would be reasonable.

Fellaini signs for Real Madrid

Everton and Belgium star Marouane Fellaini has signed for Real Madrid, marking new manager Zinedine Zidane's first change. Zidane said:

"We are all delighted to announce the signing of Marouane Fellaini. This marks the first move I've made as new manager of Real Madrid and I know it won't be the last this summer. Fellaini is a great player who I'm glad to have snapped up for a little fee of £16m. It would've been more, but Everton's consideration has made me delighted."

Fellaini also said:

"To be part of the Real Madrid team is a dream come true (can you get the gun off me?) and it's a pleasure to have even been considered. While I'll miss Everton (seriously, move the gun!), a Real Madrid offer is a once in a lifetime opportunity, one I couldn't refuse. I'd like to thank Zidane and the board for giving me this chance and I truly hope I won't let them down (get the fucking gun off my head!). I also hope I can impress the fans (ok, I'll change subject), but to be honest, I see the players and staff as a more important business."

Fans were fuming with Fellaini's comment, but are optimistic for his first game.

Real Madrid snap up youngsters

Real Madrid have signed youngsters Jairo and Moisés from Racing and Villarreal respectively. Jairo was signed for a value of £1.8m and will join the club immediately. However, Moises, who joined the club for £2.6m will join the club in July next year.
