EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham begin work on new stadium
http://i40.tinypic.com/f3gdjo.png
Tottenham Hotspur have announced that the building of the new stadium has begun. It's something that many fans of the London based club have been waiting for. The first brick has been put in place for the construction of Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium, 'The Tottenham Stadium.'
The building of the new stadium is part of the Northumberland Development Project - a project started by Tottenham Hotspur designed to help regenerate the areas around White Hart Lane and North London, as well as help Tottenham take the next step in joining the elite football clubs of Europe.
The new stadium will hold a capacity of 49,142, making it the fourth largest stadium in terms of capacity in the Premier League and fifth largest in terms of stadiums in England. The new stadium will be surpassed by St James' Park (52,405), home to Newcastle, The Emirates (60,362), home to Arsenal and Old Trafford (75,765), home to Manchester United The stadium will also contain under-soil heating and a retractable roof.
The cost of the new stadium is estimated to be around £210,000,000. The figure, however, will be offset by the selling of White Hart Lane, which is expected to bring around £65,000,000
It is believed that the new stadium will be ready in time for the 2014/15 season.

Thank you I'm doing it with Gimp (made a template so I just have to edit certain bits of information)
I was really annoyed at the Chelsea result, game back from 2-0 down to equalize 2-2 within 3 minutes and then Torres when and scored in the 85th minute

Tottenham chasing Spanish Striker
http://i39.tinypic.com/21ynav.png
It has been confirmed by an inside source that Spanish striker, Roberto Soldado is a target for English club, Tottenham Hotspur.
It is believed that the Valencia striker Roberto Soldado tops the Portuguese list, having sent out several scouts in recent weeks to watch the striker play. This included Valencias recent 3-1 win against Elche in the Liga BBVA.
Soldado has made a total of 22 appearances, scoring 16 times. However, the striker has only scored 6 of these goals in the Spanish League in 15 appearances. His other goals include 10 in 5 in the Champions League.
AVB is said to be impressed by the strikers scoring ability, and believes he would be a perfect fit for his side. This, however, has puts doubts over Tottenham's current strike force. Either one of Jermaine Defoe or Emmanuel Adebayor could be on the way out in order to help fund the move for the Spanish hitman, and it's up to AVB to decide which one gets the axe.
Defoe has played a total of 11 games so far this season, scoring 6 goals. While Adebayor has played 8 times, scoring 3.
The manager has also notified Director of Football Franco Baldini, who he has asked to handle negotiations. The striker would be available for £26,000,000 due to a release clause in his contract. Chairman Daniel Levy and Director of Football, Franco Baldini believe that they can persuade Valencia to sell at a much lower cost.

Tottenham smash transfer record
http://i41.tinypic.com/20t1mdj.png
Tottenham Hotspur have announced the new signing of Spanish hit-man Roberto Soldado, and during the process have smashed their transfer record by nearly £10,000,000.
Roberto Soldado has signed for Tottenham for a record fee of £26,000,000 after Tottenham Hotspur agreed to meet his release clause. The signing smashes their previous record signing, which was owned by Paulinho for only 6 months, after he was bought to Spurs from Corinthians for a fee of £17,000,000.
It is believed that Tottenham will pay £12,000,000 up-front, with the rest of the £15,000,000 in installments over the next two years.
The 27-year-old has signed a 4 year contract and will earn a fee of around £90,0000 a week.
The striker scored an impressive 18 goals in 25 matches for Valencia last season, as well as picking up a total of 5 assists.
A Spurs statement said: "We are delighted to confirm the signing of Roberto Soldado from Valencia subject to a medical."
What makes this deal rather unusual is that many Spurs fans believed they had lost their man. While Soldado's agent spoke out to the press, saying that they would consider moving to White Hart Lane if any substantial offer were to materialize, Roberto publicly spoke out two days later claiming that he had no intrest in joining the London outfit.
The player will join the rest of the squad in the January transfer window.
